          There's an element of truth to that... But it's not true anymore, at least not in any Bostonite under 60. There's a famous photo of a white guy in Boston attacking a black dude in a protest against bussing with a flag pole with the american flag on it... Of course, that was at least 20 years ago and things have gotten much better.

              I voted for OTHER.

              As in Georgia......they thought I was Mexican and wouldn't serve me.

              Other than that, I give the Aloha Spirit to all the other states...especially Oregon and Washington State.

              (as well as Idaho and Indiana....I got cousins up there on the mainland.)

                    Are you southern Italian or half Asian? On the West coast a large percentage of the families are mixed race so it's no big thing. I can totally see certain parts of the country which don't recieve much immigration and where everyone is lily white some racism could remain.

                          I have to agree that Taxachusettes sucks. It's second most hated behind California to me.
