For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

To me, it seems like a form of welfare for those who are alredy in a sh*tload of money. It's grossly unfair, and a waste of money that can go elsewhere.

If you're going to be against welfare, at least do us the favor of being consistent about it Mr. Fun.

In order for welfare to be ethical really, I think it should only provide resources for those who NEED it.

The logic the politicians are using is that these companies will go bankrupt or move their opporations unless they recieve a subsidy. Of course if taxes & red tape were lower then they wouldn't be competetively handicaped and so wouldn't have grounds to ask for a subsidy.

That's just plain untrue. The US Labor Party, of which I am a member, has a national Righ to Work Amendment campaign going on. All leftists argue not only for a right to work, but a right not to work, too.
