You do realise how easy it would be to cheat in this artificial competition you've just created?
Maybe not on expert, but I can cream you on beginer and intermediate.
...and he hasn't shown us his scores yet on those levels, has he?

Two handed. I used a mouse in one hand to move around, and a pen tablet in the other to do the actual clicking. The other part is just knowing the patterns and being able to eliminate questionable squares faster. I didn't get any huge breaks from the start, but I did get resolvable patterns almost all the way through, so I only had to guess a couple of times.
No matter what you do, there's a big element of luck, since you can always come down to two squares in a corner with one mine. When all else fails, blame brown people. | Hire a teen, while they still know it all. | Trump-Palin 2016. "You're fired." "I quit."

Ooo, Minesweeper. I used to play it a lot 6 years ago
My best is around 90 something, not as good as MtG's, but I only used one hand.(\__/) 07/07/1937 - Never forget

If you don't mark mines, you can't do the cool clicking with both buttons that opens up all the tiles touching a number with all its mines marked already. Thats how to get speed.Concrete, Abstract, or Squoingy?

You say that's your best score but it clearly says Mike so it must be my score!Jon Miller: MikeH speaks the truth

A long time ago, Minesweeper (together with Solitary) used to be the only game I had on my PC, and I could play it for days on end when I was really bored...
IIRC my record times are:
Beginner: 3 seconds
Intermediate: 16 seconds
Expert: 86 seconds
Not marking the bombs really holds you back as it forces you to think about which tiles are mines and which aren't -- and thinking is the last thing you need to do with this game...
