      But people have very different tolerances as to the level of display of affection they are comfortable witnessing or exhibiting. Personally I don't care what the gender of the participants are, the level of closeness should be consistent with the environment.

        Yeah that is true.. I have to be careful around here as people aren't very tolerant. I noticed that when I was travelling in different countries... I usually am not going any further than a nice loving hug when out in public..

          I think most people would have similar tolerances to myself. Hugs, handholding etc ok. Anything that looks like foreplay -- should be private.

          Of course the line moves-- If you are in a wild nightclub where everyone is kissing and grinding against one another for example

                      Alright, so back to my RED HERRING of marginal importance - what's the big deal with marrying a family member? Love can be that much the same as with two men, and if even a surgical agreement barring reproduction would be accepted by one half - there is no argument against it. I just find it arrogant thiat two men loving each other sexually is ok, while incest is arbitrarily perverted

                        Incest in my opinion is morally repugnant. But as I am a person of complex beliefs... in my opinion two people who are not related can love each other, regardless of gender.

                          We should just get rid of the concept of marriage altogether. IF gays can be married it's not about the child-rearing family. Face it the family is dead (unless you choose to organize that way).
