    • Tour Montparnasse would've been great if it was located in the viscinity of other high-rises and sky scrapers. Alas, it was located in a neghbourhood of 5-7 story buildings. Great call.

              Indeed, plenty of these in Paris, like in many European cities. (eg: Brussels)

              • I love skyscrapers and most industrial cities in the England would look better if they had them. York, oxford, chester etc would look stupid with them

                • I am not promoting placing skyscrapers in villages, But I think they're almost a must-have in a metropolitan enviroment. I've heard Brits are planning some major progress in this.

                              Like this one in Ostend, it's a 100 metres tall, located in a city that has hardly 70.000 people and no other high-rise worth mentioning. Utterly ridiculous.
