Tour Montparnasse would've been great if it was located in the viscinity of other high-rises and sky scrapers. Alas, it was located in a neghbourhood of 5-7 story buildings. Great call.

I love skyscrapers and most industrial cities in the England would look better if they had them. York, oxford, chester etc would look stupid with themSpace is big. I am not promoting placing skyscrapers in villages, But I think they're almost a must-have in a metropolitan enviroment. I've heard Brits are planning some major progress in this.
