Beating Vice city put me over the egde lol-that was(today) my last game till HL2 comes out.... after beating it I've lost completley interest.

ALL games are "basically" the same now... even with minor changes gameplay is the same, nothing "new" has come out for almost two years-im just burned out lol!

Now? When were they ever that different?

Though, in all seriousness, RPGs aren't really the same as action titles, though they may share some similarities.

All RPG's have rediculously cliche story lines, and basically identical gameplay......

Play Vietcong to get your blood racing.. First Person shooter.. you get to blast away commies.. I love it. The best line from that game "No more VC" and "All VC KIA."

I wouldn't say Morrowind and the upcoming Lionheart are going to have similar gameplay. Lionheart doesn't seem to have the cliche, either .

                    Fez:

I downloaded the demo for a first person shooter game set in the vietnam war but i forgot what it was called... you started out in a vietcong prison that was bombed allowing you to escape and you went around shooting vietcongs... is that the same game?

                        No.

The demo is where you start with a marine team and you go through a jungle shooting VC.

Really so there's more than one Vietnam war era first person shooter? I'm really surprised... that one i played was a little aged but wasn't too bad. hard as **** fighting the vietcong in their tunnels though especially without no explosives.
