you know the old heads who stand on the corner with a megaphone or a mic attached to a portable speaker, preaching to random passerbys... what do yall think of them?
For example, today I had seen one (wearing a koffie so i assume he was muslim) and he was talking about how the Israelites were enslaved by the Egyptians (which he called black) and that ever since, the jews have been holding down the black man as vengeance.
Such preachers have important messages concerning self-determination and morality but clearly what that one was talking about is somewhat racially hateful. what do yall think? are street preachers for the greater benefit or are their tendencies to be hateful a detriment?
Me personally, though I can see some problems arising from such messages as what that particular one said, overall, a message of morality and self-determination is crucial to the improvement of the inner-city.
