    Ted -
Bull****. Ask Doc Strangelove how many times he's seen people come through his hospital all ****ed up because of pot.
You really believe he's a doctor?

ANYBODY EVER HEARD OF REEFER MADNESS?!?!
Ah, yes, Strangelove's authoritative source about pot.

The benevolent pot smoker sitting on the couch and not hurting anybody is the biggest ****ing myth.
"Benevolent" or not, just what percentage of pot smokers do you think are running around hurting people?

Hey but if you pot smoking losers want to convince yourselves it's all harmless by all means go ahead and **** up your lives.
Hmm...is your standard that all activities must be 100% harmless?

You'd better have insurance because I'll be DAMNED if I'm going to pay for your ****ing hospital bills.
Then I trust you will never accept any government subsidised health care benefits either since that would mean others are paying for your hospital bills.

I am addicted to steak sausage!
    And your clogged arteries.

While I agree with the majority here that decriminalizing marijuana is a step in the right direction, I have to say that I am shocked that Canada is going to discriminate against its farmers in this matter. Why can't the lonely and bored Canadian farmer fire up a joint after a hard day "on the shield" without the fear of tougher penalties than other Canadians? Is it because they work with heavy equipment like thrashers and stuff? If so, then why aren't construction workers under the same restrictions? This law is biased, and I hope that you Canadians won't let it stand!

Yeah, that's strange cause I thought Canadian farmers could already grow industrial hemp (as opposed to pot). Will they have to run around checking all the pot plants to see if they have buds on them?

Are you volunteering to insure compliance by removing any buds that might be found on Canadian hemp?

Small amounts of pot was virtually decriminalized in Vancouver in the late 70's. I think it became an actual misdemeanor there a little later. No cop would ever arrest you there for a small amount. I recall that at Rocky Horror people would be openly smoking in line and the cops didnt care so long as you werent disturbing the peace.

Pot was legal in this country up until the 1930's. Were the Founding Fathers flakes for not starting a drug war way back then? Oh yeah, you don't actually debate, you just insult people and run away.

I'm too lazy to sort through 5 pages of war.

Has anyone pointed out how stupid it is to decriminalize, rather than make legal and tax ?

That's not too much different than decriminalize.
