    It DOES mean freedom from religion.

    But "freedom from religion" doesn't mean freedom from exposure to those who happen to be religious: it means freedom from having a religion imposed on us.

    Consider the phrase "freedom from Communism". If I was a communist and declared that nobody is entitled to freedom from communism, I suspect many people would "get their panties in a bunch" over it.

    It's fairly clear that this was not an "innocent expression of religious faith". But it would have been preferable if this woman hadn't been nailed on a technicality, but for the real reason.

      I certainly wouldnt want anyone pushing their religious beliefs on my children...

      I see it as a "preemptive strike" . She had a history of doing it after all...
