Aside Yanks who really screwed-up in Vietnam. Russians did quite well in Afghanistan.
      Aside Yanks:
      - our casulties in Afghanistan were 4 times lower than American casualties in Vietnam.
      - we controled entire country.
      - when we withdrawn from Afghanistan we left a freindly, pro-Russian government.

Lets look at vietnam now compared to Afghanistan, which 1 is more ****ed up.
Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind- bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space.

such as for example your story about plans of Chile leadership to conquer entire South American continent.

                cheers

there is a problem though in that the question could allow people to suggest that US support for the anti russians afghans led to the problems today.

                infact I'm surprised Serb hasn't.

I ve left myself open there

It's pretty clear who takes the prize.

                        Ok OK

defacto US imperialism is on the whole a benign force.

                        there is that ok

                          1) Those anti-Russians Afghans sponsored by Americans calls themselves the Taliban.
                          2) Try to prove me that it's not true. First Yanks created the monster, later their mad pet attacked them.

The Taliban came a bit later, but it could be argued the US actions allowed tehm to develop.

It would be more accurate to sya the cold war in general ****ed up Afghanistan

The Cold War was Russia's fault though. If they weren't such morons, they would've switched to capitalism right away and saved us all 50 years of trouble. Hell, with a 50 year head start, Russia might actually be a mediocre capitalist country today as opposed to a backwards cesspool.
