    The handkerchief.

A piece of cloth you repeatedly blow your nose into, and then put back into your pocket???

"Perhaps a new spirit is rising among us. If it is, let us trace its movements and pray that our own inner being may be sensitive to its guidance, for we are deeply in need of a new way beyond the darkness that seems so close around us." --MLK Jr.

      Neckties.
Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind- bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space.

Airplanes! Without them we wouldn't have hijackings, and we would still have the Twin Towers. Also, the majestic zepplin would still ply the skys. Huge Grande ocean liners would transport the masses happily across the seas cheaply and with better food. There would be no noisy airports to piss people off. No contrails to ruin photos, no occasional huge lump of frozen **** crashing through someones house in Boise.

                Planes *and* automobiles, Lancer?

(*thinks of good John Hughes reference will waiting for trains to be added*)

You know, I have no problem with the occasional lump of frozen **** crashing through someone's house in Boise. Just as long as the frozen **** stays well away from Minnesota, I can appreciate the comedic value.

Even frozen **** is smart enough not to go to Minnesota.

For six months of the year, all **** in Minnesota is frozen. I just don't want it invading the other half of the year.

                          Ring tones for cell phones.
                          Why not just cell phones?

Lancer's at least partially right about cars, there's very little to be said for the sprawl that cars made possible.

Television. Without it more people might actually spend some time thinking rather than waste hours sitting watching mindless drivel.

NO flobbies, chiapets, mood rocks, lava lamps, and so forth?

Light Beer sounds good to me
