    It is a myth.

True, it just grows back more. Soon you will have a luxuriant growth of back hair. Congrats.

        not a problem with me.

I have hair on my chest, crotch, and legs. that's about it.

I actually wish I was harrier . I tend to think I'm too feminine.

Asher will soon be able to lie in front of his fireplace and pretend to be a bear rug.

            Beaver rug, Horsie.

            Anyway:

            Dear TeenHealthFX,
Is it true that when you shave the hair you shave will actually grow back bigger than it used to be if you don’t shave again?

This is a common myth, shaved hair only appears to grow back thicker and darker because it doesn’t have the fine pointed tip that new hair would. The stubble just makes it appear thicker until the hair grows out.

This myth also comes from the observation of men’s facial hair. As young men began to shave, their facial hair would in fact grow in thicker. However this was related to puberty and not a result of shaving. Once men reach maturity the amount of facial hair remain relatively the same.

You've been had, Horsie. Revel in your shame.

I know enough to stay away from them.

If you can't grow a beard why on earth are you shaving your body?

no hair on chest. mild hair on arms and legs. i'm getting hair on my stomach now, dont mind it too much. i have A hair on my shoulder i shaved the upper portion of ym pubes once to measure the "itch effect" before going balls out, and decided against it.

i also tend to get a light unibrow after a few months, but i tweeze that like a mofo.
