I'm sure they are going to change the Phoenix story around a lot. Singer has done a very good job of putting things in a very real, believable context. Phoenix will be a new manifestation of Jean's powers, not a space alien. I'm sure it'll be done very well.

I've heard it suggested as well that the wolf who lead Wolvie into the base may have been some shapeshifter mutant, i forget the name.

Saw it again. Guess what I noticed at the prison?

        C'mon, guess.

I looked for it after reading Wizard.

"Do not tamper with panel before contacting Stark Industries."

Thats pretty cool, i'll look for it next time i see it. Whenever i get around to seeing it a third time i suppose.

Good news is people are considering/beginning to work on Iron Man.

Bad news is Leonardo DeCaprio is being considered to play the part.

            Just saw it

Great stuff. Nightcrawler was amazing, and very interesting too, to have such a religious character in the movie (generally these kind of movies shy away from that stuff). The best part with him is when Rogue fell out of the plane. I was about to thinking Wolverine would just jump out and grab her or something with a rope tied to his waist (The whole Wolvie is all-powerful idiotic story idea), but then the teleporting of Nightcrawler was awesome.

And then Wolvie was shown to not be all-powerful, because, let's face it, Lady Deathstrike kicked his ass until the deus ex machina end to that fight.

Magneto was REALLY shown to be immensly powerful. Fixing and stopping the crashing X-Plane, breaking out of prision, and just generally being just about all powerful (which he basically is).

Xavier was shown as the wuss (even though he almost killed everyone), so as these movies seem to be going (the wussy characters become the strong ones in the sequal - Jean Grey, Magneto), Xavier is really going to show his powers greatly in X3, IMO.

Indeed, he wasn't wussy at all. And what was wussy about Magneto in the first movie?

i saw the movie on sunday, i loved it! i mean basically they brought the comic book to life, and it was so easy to just suspend all disbelief

however one question, is titanium magnetic? so if the soldiers guarding the door to cerebro 2 had titanium grenades would they have been safe at least from magneto?

Yes, see the first X-Men movie when Magneto practically tears Wolverine apart on the train by using his titanium bones.

titanium isn't magnetic at all. the only three metals that are magnetic are nickel, iron, and cobalt.

that doesn't stop magneto, however, from being able to use his magnetic powers to control all sorts of metal in the comic book. hell, in the comic book, he even has a magnetic shield and can hurl energy bolts.
