I guess they don't have that many names anymore, since there's not even enough room in normal papers (where to sign your name) to have room for 1 name + lastname

I'm going to have to call bull**** on your hearing the names "Criminal" and "Moron".
It's true though. "Criminal" was actually the name of some guy at a local McD joint, and it was right on his name tag. I almost fell over when I saw it. My guess would be these people didn't know English and some nice people played practical jokes on them.
These are the most extreme examples. Lots of people have names such as "Pinky," "Winky," "Queenie," etc. around here.

Would you really want to be named, I don't know, Adolf?
A friend of mine has that name. I don't see anything wrong with that, lots of people with names such as Charles (Charles Manson) and Ted (Theodore Kaczynski). Don't forget Joseph (Josef Stalin).

Why does anyone have anything more than 2? Why only 2? I would like 8.
Well I got a given name, a family name, a whole bunch of initials, a name in Chinese (two characters), and some other "name" (not a pseudonym, a nickname, or a handle) in Chinese.
Chinese persons, mostly men, used to have two given names. One is the formal name, one is a name used in deferrance or out of politeness.

and wouldnt they have an american name if they live in US?
There are over 8000 people in Sweden named Adolf. A hundred years ago it was one of the top ten names to give to newborn children... It's been the name of several kings as well.
