  • Taking the war protesting to the next level

Some folks in Belgium are apparently planning to have a demonstration against American invasion and occupation of Europe in 1944-1945.

    Yes. Really.

Either this is a set-up for some kind of an elaborate joke or they are really putting something in those fries in Belgium.

"Spirit merges with matter to sanctify the universe. Matter transcends to return to spirit. The interchangeability of matter and spirit means the starlit magic of the outermost life of our universe becomes the soul-light magic of the innermost life of our self." - Dennis Kucinich, candidate for the U. S. presidency
"That’s the future of the Democratic Party: providing Republicans with a number of cute (but not that bright) comfort women." - Adam Yoshida, Canada's gift to the world

Because America doesn't share a land border with the Netherlands. Probably.

        He, he, he.

Well, imho, those american bases in Italy and Germany have to go anyway. They're a nuisance.

But I think the Americans want to move them in to the Middle-East anyway.

Even chief-weaponinspector Rumsfeld has sometimes a good idea.

No. I say keep the US bases in Europe, as long as Europe can have bases in the US. Seems fair, and you never know when those Canadians or Mexicans will start acting up.

Another good reason to speed up research of nerve stapling.
Learn to overcome the crass demands of flesh and bone, for they warp the matrix through which we perceive the world. Extend your awareness outward, beyond the self of body, to embrace the self of group and the self of humanity. The goals of the group and the greater race are transcendant, and to embrace them is to acheive enlightenment.

I'm going to protest the Bostonians throwing away all that tea. Such a waste.

Yeah right. If you think there were problems with helicopters in Iraq, just wait until you see ours in action.

Why stop there? Let's make a stand for the poor and oppressed Neanderthals. We could bring every single Homo Sapien in the world today to trial for crimes against humanity and genocide.

This makes me wonder is there any limits to anti-americanism? Anti-war people I understand and have lots of respect as brave people who tries to make a difference for noble thing.. but this? Do they realize they're a bit late, and even if so, they didn't actually start the fight, but rather finished it? This is one of the things that most people give the US credit for, even if they don't like Americans.. but this? I find this .. ironic.
