  • 1. Kant (100)
    2. Satre (91)

I am shocked that so many right-wingies had Kant on top.

    That means:

    a. The test is bull****

    b. Interesting, Right-wingies aren't so dumb after all, they have just their eyes closed.

    • Not much on philosophy so I don't really know what this test is telling me, but here are my top 10 "likenesses":

      JS Mill: 100%
      Aristotle: 93
      Aquinas: 90
      Kant: 88
      Ayn Rand: 86
      Epicureans: 71
      Bentham: 69
Prescriptivism: 61 (never heard of this movement)
      Stoics: 58
      Spinoza: 52
      Okham: 52 (tied with Spinoza)

What? Haven't you read my parenting threads???

        • Ayn Rand
          Aquinas
          J Stuart Mill
          Kant
          Aristotle

Fortunately Agathon already told us why Rand is first because I never red any of her works.

              • "When we choose something for ourselves, we should choose it for all people."

Sartre seems more of a communist then an individualist ?
Utilitarianism sounds decent enough though, the end justifies the means i think it seems to be getting at.

How I see the world, there haven't been any questions about, so the test was useless...

I seem to have very little agreement with anyone but Sartre and perhaps Aquinas and I'm diametrically opposed to the Epicureans . Never read Sartre's philosophy but I did read "the Reprieve". A godawfully depressing book which grew on me.

Because he's not really famous for his meta-ethical views.

This test only rates your views on the nature of morality, nothing else.

As I said, this is a test on your view of morality not your general view of the world. I'll look for one of those.
