I got a liberal education - as opposed to what you got - a technical qualification.
Any views I may express here are personal and certainly do not in any way reflect the views of my employer. Tis the rising of the moon..

Look, I just don't anymore, okay?

It wasn't sarcasm. There was a hint of irony in there, but most was serious. Why, what's your problem?

AFAIK Sarcasm can be achieved by ironic language (don´t have any definition here I admit). Would have to look it up again, but IMO no thing to start the flame war about

They are subjected to a huge amount of brainwashing at school to make them believe that the Nazis were evil
This was the part I worried about.

Who needs to be "brainwashed" into thinking Nazis are evil?

That was exactly what I thought. Let´s hope this is the ironic part.

Incorrect. Using a swastika isn't forbidden in Sweden. The "hate speech" law is you are talking about is just a law against severe negative agitation pointed at groups of people.

I agree that PC in games is wrong and games shouldn't teach alternate history, but I respect the laws of Democratic nations. If Germans want Swastikas to be illegal, then so be it.
To us, it is the BEAST.

That was the slightly ironic part. I gather it has changed a bit now, but when my wife was at school she was forced to take classes which taught that facism was evil. They were shown lots of video documentaries about the holocault and stuff, and even had lessons about why the USA is such a wonderful country - freedom and democracy and all.

So it was brainwashing - but it was 'good' brainwashing.

I really don't know what I meant. Try not to get defensive about it. It was just a troll like response I threw out there. Sometimes when I see everyone else trolling, I can't help myself, and I do it too. But I don't consider myself a troll for the most part.

I play a game called IL2 sturmovik and its expansion Forgotten Battles.
WW2 air combat simulator set on the Russian front.
No swastikas on the tail as there should be.Kind of bothered me at first but at least you can make your own skins and include it.
The game was made by Oleg Maddox (a Russian) and I guess drawing swastikas leaves a bad taste in his mouth.(he also seems quite biased toward Russian planes since they greatly outclass the german planes in the game).
On their official website you cant even post a pic of your plane if it has a swastika on it.

Seems a bit too PC to me tho.
History cant be changed nor should it be sanitized and ignored.
