How big is your navy if everything has full naval support ? you are not a big military power this far from home ! even nations which have confirmed they are mainly seafaring would struggle to guard every transport at a short range.

That's why I only contributed a bunch of Janitors to this war.
I find that it's a lot easier to move 70 people half-way across the region by stealth than half a million by means of tax dollars.

jon: IIRC, the PRC had a army of 4 million, but they trimmed it down to 3 million now, and is still cutting down the size. It is entirely possible for the Hive to field a 4 million strong army, but I don't think it's possible to field a 4 million strong army as an invasion force. Not only because that probably mean Hive has another 4 million soldiers at home, but the logistics for such a huge force will be a complete nightmare.

I've said 4million troops, there are logistical/support/reserves/engineers whatever in there so you are correct as not all are grunts in the trenches.

you are assuming all my suplies coming from auldonina . that not the case, we buy them from any free coutnry and have them ship them in to the Western isles and from their large transport planes and hleicopters running 24 hrs a day. If the israelis cna airlift a whole group of jews from africa to israel the nwe can fly supplies in.

Again, choppers = slow = easy meat to be shot down. Aircraft = unreliable landing spot and if you say you are landing in Tel Azan, the area i have surrounded dont you think a few missiles would be kicking ur arse every time ?

Exactly, i will outnumber you, i have a larger military and im not oceans away from home, im barely a short swim away so quit thinking you're a super power, only the alliance will have the numbers to push me back.

If we use a low number such as 2% personel in my military, then actually i've got another 50mill or so trained soldiers at home, you're the one who should be concerned about your island if you've got 50% away from there.

Everyone - everyone - even if you're Apolyton's pre-eminent military power - has to be reasonable. You have to have both weaknesses and strengths. You have to take casualties when it is reasonable to take casualties. You have to lose the war, when it is reasonable to lose the war.

As i've said, this will be a Korea situation when the alliance attacks, I will in my opinion be pushed back to FCL's borders, Auldoninna alone vs me would stand no chance.

Here's an updated map of Roshem showing Azazel's detailed info (somewhat modified to match roleplay thus far). Note that the City Centre includes all financial, administrative and government buildings. There's a port downtown, which the FCL is in complete control of, but the port for heavy industry is in Azani hands and the airport is controlled by Noosland.

Well, the way I see it, eventually losing the war is one thing. Being defeated almost single handedly by Auldoninna in a matter of days is something else. One may be reasonable, the other one is not, in my opinion.

Well, there is a difference between acknowledging an attack but not specifying exactly how much you lost from it and not acknowledging an attack and saying "I lost nothing." And, it's definitely not realistic to be supplying an entire army by air alone. That ammunition and stuff they use is freaking heavy! Let's try to be reasonable about this, shall we? (Sorry if I sound like a jerk.)

Yes... but... we have no fixed timeline in the Apolyton forum. So sometimes time flows the opposite way, with several RL days equal to one day or even a few hours of gametime. Otherwise it would be impossible for us to interact in meaningful way.
