  • I will be changing destination

    Hi everybody!

I am making this thread to inform you of an important issue.

January 2nd I am going to 'Oure Idrætshøjskole' on Fyn in Denmark. There I will most likely be surfing, diving, skiing (there will be trips to France during the stay) and surfing all day , and partying all night . I will be there for six months.

Unfortunately, and this is the sad thing, I don't know how much access I will have to the internet, or how much time I will have to work on GGS in that period .

But I will be home most weekends, so I will definately be posting then. And it is likely that I will be able to post once in a while during the week as well.

So I will deprioitize GGS the next six months.

Just informing you all of the reason why I will be less active untill summer.

But I will be back! And I hope that we can still continue development of the game at the same speed as usual, especcially since much development now is UI development, and I am not very involved there.

Anyway, have fun! And contact us every now and then!

Hmm I forgot all you Europeans speak just about every language available to you, making me feel all small and stuff.
Well I will have you know that I am fluent in many many languages, like English, Canadian, American, Australian, and even New Zealandian here and there. I also speak Redneckian, Ebonics, and Pig-Latin.

(I used to know Spanish and French but I never used either of them so I ended up forgetting them both. Now all I can say is Buenos Adidas and Me gustan les filles)

Hey guildmaster, are you sure you can speak Australian.

            Its a hard language, mate

On a better note I am the opposite to Joker. as of today I am free. from school anyway for 7.5 weeks. So that means when I am note playing guitar or watching my Metallica videos I can work on GGS!

Well, I guess Europeans just have to learn multiple languages... Apart from Dutch I also speak reasonable English, some German and even a very little French. However Swedish and Danish are not my best...

True; especially we Finnish who are such a small people, we have to know also other languages. I speak Finnish, English, quite acceptable Swedish (thus understanding also Norwegian and Danish, though not speaking them), understandable German and a little French... because of French, I understand also a little Italian and Spanish, but can't say I can speak them.

Heardie: yes, Australian is tough. G'day, mate there down under!

                  Thanks guys!

And of cause! I completely forgot that if you couldn't speak danish you would have no idea what this place was! How silly of me .

But yes amjayee, it is a sort of sports highschool, where I will be living with around 600 other young people, and have fun!

                  Guildmaster:

Actually I feel a bit the same way. I only speak danish and english. I had german in 7th to 9th grade, and italian in highschool, but since I didn't get good at it right away I just felt it was pointless and never got any good at it. Now I have almost completely forgotten the little I learned. My german is reduced to different nazi expressions like ACHTUNG and such (it's the only german you hear in american movies ), but at least I can say come stai and arrividerci tutti in italian.

lol Guildmaster, quite exhaustive German! At least not any Nazi German, as usually. Sieg Heil! Schnell, schnell, Schweinehund! Jawohl!

OK, you Americans are not uncivilized or uneducated. It's just that you are less civilized and educated than us Europeans!

I guess you know how to do it in Denmark, because thats an awful lot of time

I hope you can get on internet once in a while too, since I am thinking to start coding goverment, as soon as we have a UI to use for it.

                            Ich spreche deutch, sehr klein

Elmo, I have to admit I dont like heineken, but I was in Amsterdam twice, and Netherlands is the country I like most in europe (after my own ofcourse).

Yeah, those were the words I was looking for, Amjayee.

And Heineken is a pretty good beer, actually. Of cause I drank domestic Tuborg beers last night. But the best beer ever has to be Krönenburg. But that's mostly because of the great memories I have of it from my highschool skiing trips to France. Ahh, those were the days!
