The Dail authorised the use of part of the IFS 3rd Fleet for offshore bombardment of Liverpool, as requested by Chairman Sophanthro. It is to be hoped that English domestic problems can be cleared up rapidly as the presence of Barbarian forces upon our border is a considerable cause for nervousness.

We appreciate the concern of other nations, but we will quickly regain possession of the erroring cities, who followed the Barbarous leadership, of an immoral English General. Most of the cities have returned to the proper leadership, and if we need assistance, we will request it.
Our efforts to regain control of York, Birmingham, Hastings, Liverpool have been delayed slightly by opposing forces sent out by the Barbarians, it is of note that the Barbarian general has lost most of his troops, So that other nations need not fear. Birmingham and York are guaranteed to fall next turn, Hastings will probably fall as well. Leaving only Liverpool which will be surrounded at the end of next turn.
The initial problems were caused by a temporary cash crunch which was exasperated by a series of Rush buys.Comment

The ISFN continued it's action against the Agitators currently troubling England. When our assistance is no longer required we would be grateful to be informed.
Let it be known that no Mayan vessel will be tolerated inside IFS territorial waters, regardless of the circumstances, and should any be located they will be sunk without warning.

The Civil War is over in England.

The general of the rebellion was captured in Liverpool, although popular with the more violent of the English Army, he proved himself anything but a strategist. As the leader of the violent insurrection he was sent to Cantebury to await sentencing, several other leaders of the rebellion have also been captured. It is of note that while the rebellion took heavy losses the official English army is barely weakened by the excursion.
Messr. Sophanthro extended his thanks to the valiant and honorable navy of Ireland for their efforts in securing the recapture of Liverpool. He also expressed thanks for the concern from other leaders of the world, most notably the wise leaders of France, Canada, and Maya.
Communist government disbanded

The Duma of England has been disbanded, for thier poor management of cash flows, Messr. Sophanthro stated that an emergency government has been enacted and although it bears resemblence to the old system. It will serve only as a temporary stopgap until England can rebuild the neccessary buildings that she lost in the rebellion.
Messr. Sophanthro reiterated the fact that although city deteriation was not a severe as originally expected England's cities especially her larger ones would have to undergo a period of reconstruction, until they could bring the control back to the people, for now a strong able government is what is needed and that is exactly what we have.

Viking News
Refugees of the Viking\English war originating from the ex Viking Cities of Odense and Uppursula have after a long search for a new home finally settled to form a new City.
The city gates were officially opened, amid a huge public celebration, by Frazer himself and the City was named New Odense after the original City that was destroyed and occupied by the English.
Elsewhere the construction of new modern weaponry was greeted with applause from the Viking people as they now know the cost of a poor defensive force.
Unfortunately the Viking economy is suffering something of a recession so many Viking cities are concentrating on encouraging economic growth and capitalism in the hope of a brighter future. Considerations are being made for the possibility of a change to the constitution in the near future to allow a more progressive form of government.Comment
