Viking News
The English forces continue to reign havoc on the Viking nation as more troops stormed across the borders towards major Viking Cities. In a public address to his own people last night Frazer said that it was time for the Vikings to prepare for the worst. The Enemy are already at the gates of the small town of Odense and the City of Haldir off the northern cost has been bombarded from the sea. A report of a battalion, consisting of 9 units of tanks and possibly marines heading directly in the direction of Haldir. It is expected that Odense and Haldir will be occupied by the English in the next 24 hours.
Frazer told the loyal Citizens of these Cities that they would never be forgotten and that war will rage until either Trodhiem falls or the Vikings are free once more.
Some reports suggest a communication from the English offered peace settlement that would deprive the Vikings of most of their most fertile farm lands and historic Cities. This was thought to be rejected out of hand by the Viking leadership or thought it a joke and an insult to our pride and our Ancestors.
Frazer thanked the nations who have offered support and aid, but stressed the enormity of the cries facing the Vikings. The Vikings have been the quietest and most peaceful nation despite their historic reputation and now our whole way of life is under threat and may be wiped out completely within 10 turns.
