      Hi,
Sorry about the delay, my computer stoped working and I haven't been able to get on line for a few days. I've got a new PC now but it's going to take me an hour or so to get everything installed. You really should have brought the 24 hour rule into play for me.

I've also had to change my user name from Frazer to Fraze as I've no idea what my password was and my e-mail adress was different when I origanaly registaed with appolyton.

        Turn 97 ==> Klair.

        England's Response:

Leaders of the world, we advise you to look at the map of the world. Place your eyes upon England. Notice the smallest land area possessed on the globe. While other nations were able to peacefully expand, England was deprived of this benefit. The reasons for this date back to the beginings of time. When England was left to the leadership of no one. At this time she was hemmed in on both sides. We do not blame the governments of Eire and Vikland, as they were merely doing what was best for thier people. In fact England had territory to the North, but that was taken from her. We are small and needed land.

As to the end of the Norse-Anglo conflict. The war is over! Most of the land England took was not even being used by the Vikings. We possess one city: Odense which being size one would mean destruction in attempting to return it. We had in fact possessed more of Vikland but have returned it in the spirit of peace. Secondly England is willing to give a technologies to help rebuild our relations with Norway. We fear that this 'demand' sent forth not in the spirit of peace but in the idea of forcing England to war.

So England proposes this counter agreement.

        1. England keeps the small amount of land, Agreed to between England and Vikland.

        2. England will give 2 techs to Norway.

Canada only wants what's best for the Vikings, and we await the Vikings response before making any further comments on the matter.

          Turn 97 was passed on.

            Turn 98 to Frazer.

The IFS regards England's offer to be generous in the extreme though having checked with the Intelligence Services it would appear that The Vikings have miraculously surpassed England in Technology in but a few years!

Ireland maintains her policy of strict neutrality but must make it clear that any attempt to attack an Ally of Ireland by a nation with whom she does not enjoy full Alliance Status cannot but be regarded as hostile to Ireland herself.

As Taisoich I have signed three Formal Treaties obligating the IFS to Non-Aggression and Aid and Assistance in the event of Third Party Attack. England and Norway are two of those nations, Slavia is the third and I respect their close ties with France, however Canada, Maya and Germany are not!

I warn Slamp, Don and Ed that they tread upon dangerous ground when they threaten to send their Warships to attack the ports of any of my Allies!

Ireland is an impoverished nation, weak and feeble but still possessed of enough honour and dignity to take her Treaty obligations seriously.

            Taisoich Jon, IFS.

I appreciate the English responce. I would more than agree to the terms stated by English leaders as long as Frazer accepts it as fair.

I can not speak for other nations, but the Germans signed that letter because we felt that Norway was attacked, unprovoked, and we wanted to see that Frazer would be compensated fairly.

As to England's biggest supporter, Jon of Ireland, his threats are quite irritating me. "oh, i'm neutral, I won't pick sides, i'll just sit here as my ally, Frazer, gets stomped on". From now on, I have instructed my closest ministers to not deliver any more messages from Jon to me...they will be passed to the director of foreign affairs.

                Frazer’s Statement to the world.

The war is over and I can only admit it is as being a Viking defeat.

We have lost a large amount of land most of which was being used and two Cities, Upursula which was destroyed in the Viking retreat in order to minimize English gains and Odense which was a thriving small town and only became a ruin (size 1) town after the English occupation.

We made an agreement with the English as the English forces were much stronger and whilst the major Cities of Trodhiem, Roskilde, Viborg, Bergen, and Goteborg where all well defended (most with 9 Units of Marines), smaller rural cities are less well defended and further Viking losses could only be anticipated.

The English offered terms that guaranteed that the then occupied City of Haldir be returned to Viking territory in exchange for an end to hostiles and a border agreement turning over Viking land to English control including the Viking city of Odense which the English now call home.

Viking thanks and appreciation are due in all nations around the world who offered support especially the Canadian, German, SFU governments who all offered aid in the Viking time of need. It is certainly true that the Vikings have profited from this war in science even though we have lost in all other respects. As a nation we are now determined to rebuild our nation and increase and modernise our defensive forces.

I recognize the difficult position Jon of the Irish was in as the Irish are allied to both sides of the conflict. I can only say that in my he has acted honorably by not breaking the Viking\Irish agreement and remains a trusted friend of the Vikings.

The Viking nation now needs to recover and grow again and we, as a nation have every intention of rebuilding and becoming strong. Trodhiem will yet again be top of the five Cities of the world.

Canada will withdraw all forces from the area. After hearing the Viking leaders speech we assume the conflict is over. If the Vikings need any assistance in their rehealing process, please feel free to call upon our nation.

                          Turn 99 to Frazer.

I am deeply relieved that the threat of a World War seems to have receded and that peace has once again returned to the Continent.

I trust that the increased IFS Naval prescence will be understood as merely caution upon my part rather than any form of hostile gesture toward any nation. The unfortunate downturn in Irish-German relations is to be regretted but I am certain that time will heal wounded pride.

I wish both my cherished English and Viking Allies prosperity in a new era of peace, trust and goodwill.

England would like to end her communist regime. But top officials noted that this would be insanity, if the SFU were to strike. As noted by the Frazer, an agreement has been drawn up between our nations, and an attack would not be a matter of justice, but a matter of hostility and imperilism, therefore we ask the ships approaching English water to turn around. As we will consider piracy and pillaging to be an attack, and we react swiftly and harshly if necessary.

                                The Centenary Turn to Frazer.

Ireland notes with grave disquiet the presence of French Warships off her coast. We trust that this is merely part of some form of naval exercise and in no way meant as a threatening gesture toward the poorest and weakest of all nations. Surely the World SuperPower would not stoop to bullying the smallest country in DC?
