      Verily the Spanish gaze in wonderment at the advances of the Greeks...!

      Our nation is but a mere technological backwater in comparison to ours, we ask you to show us the path of true understanding...

        Turn 28 ==> Stavros

        More Welsh Ambassadors have been despatched to seek out the source of this knowledge that rumour brings to our ears. The Spanish, Greek and French nations have been earmarked on the present tour, and we hope that all pleasantries will be on offer to create a positive start to our diplomatic discourse.

        Or just plenty of beer
        Cariad,
        Demosthenes.

            Turn 28 to Phil of the Inca

            Greek Diplomats continue to trudge over great distances. Would that they had the wings of Pegasus to make their journey swifter.

            We are pleased at the prospect of a visit from the Welsh. We will make you feel most welcome, but alas, we have not yet learned the art of making beer, and have only wine.

              Turn 29 to Madrid.

              My Missionaries tread their wearisome way seeking out the 'lost sheep' but, as yet, no success.

                  Turn 29 ==> Stavros

                  Progress to the great nations of the earth is proving slow, with mighty forests and unsavoury swamps slowing our journey at every turn. Unfortunately this desolate terrain ha not yet been tamed by mankind, and so no efficient route has been forged into the landscape.

                  We send our apologies, but our Ambassadors may take a while longer.
                  Cariad,

                    Turn 29 to Phil of the Inca

                    As the uncharted areas of the world deminish, we wonder who will be the first to take to the still-darkened oceans. Our own people make drawings of sea-going vessels, but have yet to leave land, except for a now legendary supercraft that our forefathers rode on in our distant past.

                        Turn 30 to Madrid.

                        Why is there this talk of needing to 'prepare for war' when you have already prayed for peace? My Children, have faith for your prayers shall not go unanswered even if you be in the darkest wilderness. I shall never abandon you!

                                I could have sworn Demos said he was leaving earlier before - I was waiting for an email address to send the turn on - guess I should have paid better attention...

                                Turn to Demos!
