Wow I am actually on site. Hex will be thrilled! Hex asked you'all to bug me to get on, it was that onslaught of Emails that led me to finally get on. At last count I believe I got one email about it including Hex's.

I noticed your cities like Favre Ville, & Bart Starr. Do you have one called Nietsche? You could create some very classy cities in the high rent district like PaytonVille & Ditkatown. Sayersville would be quite nostalgic. Dentburgh would be a very good defensive town.

We sadly report that the great vessel is no more. Its seems our Great leader Donicus was out cruising the lake as usual, frolicking with his female slaves and have a good ole time. When all of a sudden there was a large crash, it appears that Donicus in his moment of bliss had not seen that large rock protruding out of the water. Well the vessel sank like a rock and is at the bottom of the lake. Our Great leader Donicus and his friends were not hurt other than a little damage to their pride. Our Great leader Donicus has ordered another boat to be built and placed on the lake, we think we will ignore this request.

        Welcome to Apolyland Phil

I must verify that aztec stacks have been lurking near my cities for awhile now, no good will come of this. Threatened by a lone phalanx? yea right...

            Mark and Mike,

I have taken great pains not to attack anyone, even when I knew I could win...None of us desires war.

            Mark
I have also not tresspassed into territory that has been requested to be off-limits - you will note that my Trieme has retreated from your waters, and you will also note, if you make the effort, that the Trieme has continued retreating. You will also note that my stack has also retreated back, and will remain back, if that is your wish.

            Mike
One phalanx can cause a lot of headaches. If I had a phalanx roaming around in your territory, you would also be upset. If you want to roam in my territory, send a diplomat instead.

As both of you realize, map info is very valuable, and can end up being used against you. Surely, both of you can understand the importance of national defense.

I think that we all can agree to dwell peacefully together. The world is a big place, and there is plenty of room for all.

Turn 27 to the esteemed Greeks.

Hey who wants to chip in to send the Vikings & Aztecs to a conflict resolution seminar. I for one would like to see it - Could you imagine a group Vikings dressed in all of their Nordic war garb (kind of like Hagaar the Horrible) and a group of Aztecs warriors (guys with funny headresses who looked like they played paint ball all day and got a bad sun burn doing it)... talking about their feelings and exchanging group hugs. If that wouldn't warm your heart, then I don't know what would!

I hope my high school English teacher doesn't read the above note , she would surely send me to remedial English for the run-on sentence. (Notice that I did capitalize English
She may even gang up with a cultural sensitivity trainer and make me go to a seminar of my own!

The mighty Greeks welcome peace with the Vikings and again are willing to trade maps so that peace will remain. The Greeks see now the closest neighbor the Romans who until now were invisible to them. The Greeks hope to send a diplomat to them soon.

                    To fellow civs:

                    To the Aztecs:
The noble people of the Vikings welcome your friendliness in backing down, and we wish to extend peace by advancing no further.

                    To the Americans:
That phalanx is headed your way, He is going to find you and destroy everylast one of your units, for he is a Viking!
Just kidding. He actually is coming because the Vikings whish to attend a Bears game at Soldier field, so make sure Chicago is ready!

                    To the Dutch:
We the Vikings adore our neighbors, but not when they steal our goods.
I hope that is not what you did with that settler, or there may be reprecussions!
I hope that you consider our friendship before you make any rash moves...

                    To the Romans:
                    Howdy neighbor! How ya doin?
