I think with or without rules we are heading in that way
The only difference is that it will 3 vs 2 and 1 hunging around if you know what I mean

Ber and me always fight, that is in Internet play, and as regards our superiority, that only exists on Internet play, for some strange reason in PBEM play is different, it seems to be a great leveller of ability.

Dattler, you seem a little irate at my suggestions.... CTP is a game of Diplomacy, and Bluff, try playing Blackice online, his comments are enough to make you feel you want to surrender before first city settled... Because of your directness, I feel obliged to point out that I am attempting to goad you, and the other players, and I would be amused as everyone else when the rest of you come marching over my civ, and crushing it into oblivion.... Now where was I.....

Would you agree to 4 versus 2, me and Ber do need knocking off our pedestals, I know it would be impossible (almost impossible) to defeat 4 players, but I like the idea personally - Total annihilation is the only way either side can claim victory?? I know Darth alone is similar to me in ability, but both me and ber are trading science already so I imagine we do have a SLIGHT edge in that department??

i donot think this will lead to an interesting game but if you can get some more players fascinated for your idea i will do my best for anhilating you from earths surface.

is your early (gift)alliance an unchangable fact before discovering some more landmarks or meeting some other civs? maybe you are right that we other four HAVE TO cooperate because of your early knowledge-sharing. is this in any case discussable?
i doubt a little if this game-rule-layout is doing a favor for game balance.

Dattler, it was sheer luck that me and Ber got located next to each other, but we are the scourge of Internet Play, crushing all comers... the only people I have lost to in months is Berxpert and blackice, I have science here of 200, Class Ed in 3 turns, it is interesting for us to work together, But it has got to be a consensus.... I see you are opposed to teaming with the other 3 to take us on, and I appreciate that, so let us hear the alternative.. the other players are JPWW,Keygen and Darth Viper, with you that forms the majority- How about starting a Poll for various styles of game play, and we will, I am sure, honour the majority decision.
