Welcome Boney,

I am sure you will find many people to play rated games against - and no one will drop out of a game, unless they are conceding Victory to you.

I think I have a game booked so unfortunately I will not be able to play today!

You need to install a couple of 'patches' to your CTP game they are the 1.2 patch and the 1.21 Hack - do them in that order - you will get all the servers back then - Most people play on the Cali12 server...

Just one word, no one in this rating chart uses any form of trick or cheats, all games will be scrutinised, and if someone has cheated they will be excluded and shot! LOL

By the way, how many people do you normally have in a game?
Oh and I unzipped 1.2 and 1.21, I had forgotten that they were already on my computer. Unfortunately I still do not seem to be able to get all the servers. All I get are the activision UK and US servers, I do remember that I had some good games over the German server when I was in England. Well it is 11.30 (Thai time), and Sargas just ran out on me before I could even ask for a game. So I wil go back to ctp2 single player, fun, but not as much as playing real people.

You may have a corrupt servers.dat file. I can forward you the servers.dat file that Swissy sent me a while ago. It works just fine. Just let me know if you are interested...

File attached is the servers.dat i have noticed with a recent upgrade that the servers.dat sometimes does not upgrade.
Save this to a folder for the future.

LOL! Beheading is not painful enough Gavrushka. I Judge that Boney, for not offering the rest of us a beer, be put to "death by boredom" by having to read every single thread on the Apolyton Forums, word by word.

Saturday sounds good to me, my wife has left me so time is also no problem. But maybe I weill have to mix a lot of coffee with the beer, as I am 6 hours ahead of most of you guys. As to the beheading, it will certainly make the beer go down smoothly. If I play ctp on wes wittakers medmod I usually play on a lower level. Ctp, normal with 1.2 1.21, I never play at less than deity, and I can usually manage to win. But I never use the cheats mentioned by the quinns, they make the game too easy. Even in multiplayer I have never used the cheats, and I for one never knew about them until the Quinns post. Anyway let me know the time and place and Saturday sounds okay for me.

I Propose a welcome to Boney Internet Game on Saturday 4:00pm BST - (British Standard Time) - I think that is 10:00pm your time Boney? It would be good if we could get a few players extra players - that would be 8:00am Quinns Time, 10:00am JPWW and Blackice time, 4:00pm Darth Viper time.

I am not in the position to talk about this much, since I have no relation to this system, but please note that things that will happen with the PBEM ratings sometimes will not happen here, as I see it now. For example, the good things that will happen with the winner of PBEM Ladder 2001.

Gavrushka, report your results on this thread. Don't worry about clogging it up. If it gets too big, I will just create a new thread called CTP Internet Ratings (12-JUL-2001) for example. But, yes, please start a separate thread in order to discuss the specific game that you are starting. Reserve this thread for just the results and end game comments. Thanks.

Just to clarify,

4:00 p.m. Gavrushka's time (London Time) is 10 p.m. Boney's time (Bangkok time) and 8:00 a.m Quinn's time (Los Angeles time) -- RIGHT ON DUDE! But that would be 11:00 a.m. Ice and JPWW time (Eastern time) and 5:00 p.m. Darth's time (Amsterdam time). I mention this just in case we meet in the future sometime.
