LOL! I agree with Jon. The reason women CTPers are more effective and more dangerous is because their brains work in mysterious ways that are unbeknownst to us mere men.

It makes it difficult to figure out their next move, and they can be utterly ruthless and totally vindictive. *shiver* Worst of all, they dont get the "ego" guys tend to get when they have a lead, this means they tend to piss fewer other players off, and hence no one gangs up on them.

Haven't played too long in a game with Klair, but she does seem like a very good player.

          Yeahhhh?

And I am obvious protecting him (The Saint Himself) to be spanked by the other female in Lung Fast?

I didn't know - and I am still not convinced Lung?

But never-the-less (as I use to write) - the game must go on.

            Trapped ??

Birdman I think you've been married longest and with 2 more females, I wouldn't like guess about the pecking order in your household, no wonder your such a tyrant in your fantasy life.

            I’m 28 and a programmer (Delhi\SQL, FoxPro\SQL, html, VBA, a bit of everything really).

I think the PBEM demographics are working out thus:

Mostly male (but with some very notable and welcome exceptions)
            Any age post teen
History of gamming of one type or another
            IT related profession

            Is this correct?

In DC the PDRI and PDRE may not have formed a Union with the 'male' partner happy to fill the role of a mere 'provincial Governor' but we act in accord with the 'Southampton Pact' and we both watch eachother's bums!

My friend's and Ally's, The Romans, have rendered me many a service in 'Lungs Fast' and I owe them a great debt, which I hope to be able to live long enough to repay. When threatened by the 'Lovely Lady' herself Birdman has offerred me his full support just as I have him in DC.

Whatever people may say about not carrying things from one Game to another is utter trash. We play the same people and we learn how they play, how their mind works, what their likely next move is and most importantly who we can trust. Each Game is different and we find strange friends but experience tells you just how far you can rely upon that friendship. Need is the key and though in DC I am the Protector I still need Birdman just as much as I need him as the Protected in Fast.

Remember King Thor that the PG, whatever the 'Ratings' may say, means very little when it comes down to brute force!

LOL! Jon, you are too much!
I have to hand it to you.. you're right.

I know very well about the PG not reflecting true power. Thats why I was telling BirdMan here that if it weren't for you he'd be having to worry about this "provincial governor" coming after him. Because if I used the power graph as my guide wouldn't I be using the protection provided to me by the mighty Klair to crush the English Communist Dictator??

I totally agree that no two games between the same players are unrelated. No matter how we try, we will be analyzing the playing style, looking for weaknesses, finding ourselves in similar situations etc. etc. I however think they aren't related to the extent that the same "power blocks" will form in every game with the same players. For instance, I'm cursing BirdMan in Giant bird because I have a tiny island as a starting position and its a swamp. .. I admit its not his fault really, But I just like blaming him for my troubles! , in DC again there is tension between our civs, in Conquer its a peaceful relationship, yet, in World Scenario we are allies. , and though he has helped me, and I've helped him in that game, its still not going to stop me coming after him and him messing around with me in other games. Basically what I'm saying is, that if he helps you in one game you shouldn't expect him to help you in another too...

Oh yes - that little lovely indian girl (Lung Fast).

                      Senator Maximus.

Don't forget the mexican diplomat! (Giant Bird).

                      HighPriest Ivan.

And my sister Lovebird, now married to Ramses (Franses), (Midway).

                      HighPriest Wiagra of India

All those girls are taking all my money - and maybe my life sooner or later

Davina Luland instead of David Luland. That is somethink I would like to hear it from him ...or her?

Man, I just remembered those two awsome games in Commodore 64 in the 80s. Theater Europe if remember I right. A turn based strategy where the units were just some dots on a map and you had to call the manufacturer or something to give you the password to launch the nuclear weapons and start a nuclear war.
And the other game where you had something between a spacecraft and aircraft, taking off from s space station and invading to Russian cities and destroy everything before they launch the nuclear weapons and hit the bigest American cities. And finaly you had to kill any enemy in the Cremlin and get the boss I think.
Great games back then. They surelly kept me many nights awaked!

Yeti - Jeff Camlin, 27, Single Never married. No known children. Living with an ex-stripper, (don't ask). I have a canopy waterbed with mirrors on the ceiling, (chicks dig it). See my pic above on my web link

Occupation1: Very computer literate construction manager/estimator. I recently switched jobs from Infrastructure, (you know water, sewer, streets) to building construction, (banks, big city condos, wal-marts).

Occupation2: Executive Officer for CO C 2/127th Mechanized Infantry, 32nd Iron Brigade, Wisconsin Army National Guard. The Iron Brigade has a pretty cool history since the Civil War and makes some good readin'. My email is charlie_zero_five because that's my fixed callsign,(bumper number on my track). You'd be suprised how much email an infantry xo gets these days

At Infantry Basic course, I graduated in the top 1/4 of my class, which I'm kinda proud of since 90% of the class was from West Point, (I did ROTC). I didn't go active duty cuz the pay sucks. This fall I have to take the Combined Arms course so I can make Captain and really cause some trouble.

My fav games have been, I started listing them but I'm already rambling. It extends from Atari, Intellivision, Coleco-Vision, C-64, Nintendo, and Playstation. I loved civ when it came out and my most common single player name is Nuke'Em. I'm a Trekkie of sorts and had a Starfleet Command Fleet for about a year, (then sfc2 came out lol). Boardgames of note include Civ, Ronin, Risk, GEV. I liked Steel Panthers 2 but was disappointed with the TOW modelling, (same range as tanks, can you believe it!). I'm currently reading "ATTACKS" by FM Erwin Rommel, good book.

I am also fabricating sno-skids for my RC airplane because THERE'S 4 FEET OF SNOW HERE!:O

I like everybody here because there is not alot of kids flaming and swearing about their angst every other post, and yes I don't have much of a social life. I get to blow stuff up/destroy/shoot things/crush people under my mighty boot on weekends sometimes so that is fun.
I went to the Bahamas last year tho, and that was cool.

As everybody knows in the Monkey games I like to ramble ....so that's all I have to say right now. Cool thread btw. Group Hug!

Why the namr yeti? I played Warbirds, (a mega user airplane game), and i had to pick a 4 letter callsign. I became known for my B-25 raids which people called the yeti stomp lol. And I figured charlie_zero_five would be too damn long of a name on here

I've been in the army too. In Greece it is obligatory for any Greek male citizen to go to the army for 15-24 months. I have served in the 35th commando battalion (stationed at Cyprus) between 1993-1994 at the age of 18-19 with the rank of sergeant.
