The Spanish have reached the point where they have driven the Canadian aggressors sufficently to a safe distance from Spanish lands. They will go no further.

Turn to Maestro.
"Bad news Sire"
"What news? Didn't you get Hamilcar?"
"No Sire - but that is not all.
First I was not even allowed in the city. The governor had ordered his soldiers at highest state of alarm. He would not meet me though I showed the guards my orders from you.
It is the start of a rebellion Sire.
You have to deal with this now".
"Don't push me Captain - what other bad news do you have with you this morning?"
"It has probably something to do with the spanish/canadian conflict. Suddenly we have lost contact with one of our cargovessels. We think it has been sunk or been pirated.
I have issued a diplomatic protestnote to the spanish - actually we do not know if the spanish did anything, but who else would do that to us?"
First they ignore you. Then they laugh at you. Then they fight you. Then you win.

Yet another fine city was settled, right between Canadian and Spanish borders.
But, our people feel safe, behind their magnificent forcefield.
Yes, the outside world looks much better when seen from behind a blue screen.
(Whoops, I shouldn't have said that.)

Turn 255 to Maestro
In village far away of the capitol, Hamilcar wrote in a book:
"Time are working both for and against me. The people are tired of being watched, of our military presents all over, pollutions.... but they still fear a war.
I don't think a new war is closing - not with the phoenicians as active part that is. But on the other hand - I cannot tell my people, that they do not have to fear anything. That would be a lie.
I have to push my contacts - I have to be sure, that no war is "pending" if I should have any chance to .... (what would be the right word?) to con...? persuade? to..... - well I'll find it later - get the local military governors to support me."First they ignore you. Then they laugh at you. Then they fight you. Then you win.
