If I recall correct to turn a human player to AI you type in the chat window the command: /attach followed by a space and the number that represents the play order of the player (e.g. /attach 2). This turns the second player to AI. To turn the AI back to human player I think you type: /dettach followed by space and the order number of the player.

I strongly recommend not to ever turn a human player to AI. I have played in two games where a human player was turned temporary to AI and when he switched back he had several problems like disappearing units, etc.

Dunno. The problem is I get a timeout message, I refresh the thread, my message isn't there, so I repost, same thing happens a few times...

Then after a few minutes, ALL the posts that timed out are there. So I guess I'm not getting timeouts really, but the site is telling me that I am!

I'm new to PBEM and would like to join a game. I have played CTP a fair amount vs. AI on lower difficulties, trying to get the hang of the differences between it and Civ 1 & 2. I've played CTP MP twice. Any games starting up out there?

You will replace St Jon as the leader of the Japanese.
Currently on the 55 turn. The game is rated so you can get
rated too if you like.
It would be more fair for PN to get the position as he isn't in any game I think but it's up to Blackice whether he wants to cede the place to PN.
Besides "Strife" I will start another PBEM game so you can both participate there too .

Hey Hey that's great. Potentially 3 games. Do I need any mods for "Fixed Game"? Difficult to tell from the thread.
