I have played CTP very many times alone and really would like to expand my horizons by playing vs. real live humans. I am generally familiar with play by mail idea (mainly from friends who play hex grid wargames that way) and so I understand the long term obligations of that type of play. Also I am interested in short term play as well.

If anyone would care to have an addtional player please let me know here or via email. Frankly the boards confuse me a bit as to how get through the threads and all, but I am able to do it fairly well.

Also, If someone could let me know how to initiate a live game I would like to try that too. I brought up the option in CTP but I have never seen another player on that server that my computer connects to through CTP. Maybe there is some other place to hook up with live players. I dont know.

Anyway, I am currently downloading the 1.2 patch and will install it now.

As you recognise I AM a newbie. I just got the impression that Keygen was the arbitrator and he was giving me a green light, and I guess I could argue that I used the 24-hour rule! I waited nearly 2 days for you to respond to Keygen asking if it was OK for you to stand aside.

Apologies again to you both for the misunderstanding. It looks Blackice as though we are going head-to-head in the next 2 games about to start so plenty of opportunity for you to exact your revenge, and me to prove what a trustworthy and honest character I am.
