      Turn 88 ==> Stavros

      What news is this? Surely France is not about to throw aside her peaceful ways?

        Beloved Children,

        Vermin and Betrayal are apt words in this case for the Sin committed against France was most certainly venal, if not mortal.

        Cherished Quinns, know that the Spy found was not some toga clad pensioner but a proffesional agent provocateur!

              "Australians all let us rejoyce", for we have once again been allowed the glory of battle. The people were dancing in the streets, as the tales of heroism and bravery were relayed back to the capital, regarding "Darwins Last Stand".
              Of course, the people are begining to ask if Australia should not, ocassionally, also win a battle. But I'm sure that our internal fortitude will win the day....

                Turn 88 ---> Quinns

                News of Darwin's joining with the Greek nation is met with joy by the citizens of Athens. General Pericles, who led the charge, has a daughter named Athena who ironically was one of the exchange students living in Pontevedra when that city fell.

                When asked about the secret behind the Greek army's victory, the General smiled grimly and said "We shot straight".

                      Athens wishes to adress the nonsense spewing from the vilifiers in Paris regarding a "Greek spy". Athens denies the existence of Greek spies, but if they did exist, they would have better things to do than spend their time traveling through a nation led by insufferable prigs and hypocritical moralizers. Greek spies, if they existed, would find such an atmosphere unendurable!

                      We do note that there are several Greek citizens who have been working in France as honest import/exporters of elephants. Their families are alarmed that no word has been heard from them in several weeks now. Should we find that any of them have been unfairly accused of espionage, and harmed in any way, we will be forced to deal with any French import/exporters we might discover in a similar fashion!

                        Turn 89 to Madrid.

                        Repentance from the Idolators was always too much to hope for but for insult, ridicule and slander to have been added to treachery, theft and blasphemy amongst their list of sins is beyond imagination.

                        Alone of all has France walked the path of peace, despite intolerable provocation from those who would form unnatural relationships with Goats, and has not fired a musket in anger or, Beloved Demosthenes, stooped to common piracy. Indeed France does not even possess an Army at all hoping, as she does, to embrace the World in a tidal wave of love.

                        Hear this, Oh unholy fruit of Cerberus' loins, the next Kebab vendor in a dirty raincoat caught in The Holy Land will be returned upon his own skewer!

                        I had long since thought that all Diplomatic nicities had been completed between France and Wales but yet further intruders are found. Kindly remove your Knight from my land with my sacred blessings upon his head.

                        Blessings upon you all,
                        St Jon, Temperance in a World of Excess.

                            Whilst much goes on around Spain, there is nothing to report from within our borders except the industrious activities of a prosperous nation...

                            Indeed our war with Australia is almost forgotten as other noble nations take up the cause in our favour...

                                Turn 89 ---> Quinns

                                Greece welcomes the city of Alice Springs tof our happy nation this day.

                                But the businessmen who were conducting a legitimate import/export trade in France have returned to Athens with stories of mis-treatment by the Parisian authorities. St Jon, as a supposed humanitarian, you are to be condemned for subjecting these pillars of the community to a spy "witch-hunt"
