Yeah, I would be willing to say that this is the most bold treaty that has ever been discussed in a demo game.

No response yet. I hope this works out for us. The idea of two allies working together to strengthen eachother throughout the game is exciting. Then again, I have been excited about Alliances before only to have to watch it go up in flames quickly thereafter. I hope this is not the case for Team Banana. This is a bold move, and it could work to get both nations into the late game in a position of strength.

If AC responds favorably we should continue to grow this friendship with our neighbor.

OK, back to AC diplo...
Gathering Storm (GS) has met us in peace. We have no reply from AC. I decided to ping AC to see where they stand on the ABCS proposal & if they want to be known to GS.

Well it is a bit more than a 'ping' but here it is...

The Great Yang & His People - The Alpha Centurians,
All praise to the Great Banana whose name dare not be spoken! All praise & thanks to the Great Musa who imparts visions and wisdom upon his followers. These days move quickly and the gifted visions come to fruition. Woe to those who do not heed the Great Banana's truths! Team Banana's wise men returned from the mountain with the prophecy of the 7 trees and lo it comes true! Team Banana has been met by another tribe.

The time is now for the Alpha Centurians & Team Banana to stand together in friendship. Team Banana needs to know where AC stands on the ABCS proposal. We understand this was a bold proposal & that details need to be worked out, but does the previous proposal sound like something the Great Yang wants to pursue? Will Team Banana and the Alpha Centurians be friends & partners through the ages? Team Banana prays - yes!

This new tribe does not speak of where they come from but states that they come in peace. We have greeted them in like manner. Does your tribe wish to be known to them by name as we previously discussed?

Please send a reply soon. Our women have again began to lament the loss of contact with the People of Yang. They have taken to wearing peels on their feet.

The Great Yang & His People,
It is in great sorrow and distress that I send this message. When your messenger arrived he was weary and looked shaken. He fell to the ground just outside of our city. Our watchmen saw this and your messenger was brought into our tent of healing. When he speaks it is too weak to hear. We have gone through his belongings to find some clue as to what happened. We found the sealed scroll that is his custom to read from when delivering words of the Great Yang. Under guidance of our wise leaders we decided to open it and read what we assumed was a message intended for the Banana Tribe. As you can see below the scroll was empty. We now understand why you believe research of writing to be so important.

If we successfully nurse your messenger back from the brink of death we will of course send him back to you.
