    Proposal:

    ------------------------------
    Heavens be praised!

The mighty Yang has smiled upon the brave centaurian soldiers and they have accomplished a feat unseen yet in the world known to us - stormed and took the city of Mash in just below 25 years time!
Some people call this new lightning-fast siege tactic "blitzkrieg". It remains to be confirmed whether this is meant as reference to the medieval rap (some call it folk-lore) group "The Blitz" as the second part of the word is of unrecognizable origin and clearly not from the peoples the centaurians have met thus far. It is rumored that a (supposedly) Banana soldier shouted the word when seeing how successful the Centaurian assault was. However, this haven't been officially confirmed as Bananas spitefully deny that they know what the word means and that they are using help from any other nation still unknown to us.
Some blood was spilt in the event, supposedly because of widespread use of axes by both Banana and Centaurian people. Although these heavy instruments are the best tool for chopping wood, they are cumbersome to carry around and, being careless while wielding one in public, might result hurting people next to you.

    Team AC

I posted the great lighthouse story.

Your text is good as an introduction to a more elaborate story of the battle itself. I might have time this evening to write a battle report.

Yeah, I thought the story itself should be included between first and other paragraphs. Impaler also mentioned Chuk Noris should be mentioned. I tried to write some more yesterday but was poor on ideas.

I deinstalled all civ4-bts and civ4-vanilla, reinstalled civ4 and applied patch 1.61, so I could finally open the save.

First, the detailed in-game combat log (sadly, collateral damage done is not directly in the report):

          Chairman Yang's Chuck Noris (Cho-Ko-Nu) (6.00) vs The Bunch's Itchy (Axeman) (4.00)
The combat modifiers below add up to -25%.
The defender is at full health
          75% *100% * 5.00 strength = 4.00
          • Combat Odds : 94.9%
          • Plot Defense : +20%
          • Fortify : +5%
          • Combat : -50%
          • The Bunch's Itchy (Axeman) is hit for 24 (76/100 HP)
          • The Bunch's Itchy (Axeman) is hit for 24 (52/100 HP)
          • The Bunch's Itchy (Axeman) is hit for 24 (28/100 HP)
          • The Bunch's Itchy (Axeman) is hit for 24 (04/100 HP)
          • Chairman Yang's Chuck Noris (Cho-Ko-Nu) is hit for 16 (84/100 HP)
          • Chairman Yang's Chuck Noris (Cho-Ko-Nu) is hit for 16 (68/100 HP)
          • Chairman Yang's Chuck Noris (Cho-Ko-Nu) is hit for 16 (52/100 HP)
          • The Bunch's Itchy (Axeman) is hit for 24 (00/100 HP)
          • Chairman Yang's Chuck Noris (Cho-Ko-Nu) has defeated The Bunch's Itchy (Axeman)!

          Chairman Yang's Home Guard (Cho-Ko-Nu) (6.00) vs The Bunch's Chariot (3.68)
          No combat modifiers
Collateral damage from Chuck Noris reduced this unit to 92/100 HP
          100% * 92% * 4.00 strength = 3.68
          • Combat Odds : 98.3%
          • The Bunch's Chariot is hit for 24 (68/100 HP)
          • The Bunch's Chariot is hit for 24 (44/100 HP)
          • The Bunch's Chariot is hit for 24 (20/100 HP)
          • The Bunch's Chariot is hit for 24 (00/100 HP)
          • Chairman Yang's Home Guard (Cho-Ko-Nu) has defeated The Bunch's Chariot!

Chairman Yang's Blood Axe Clan (Axeman) (5.00) vs The Bunch's Axeman (4.30)
The combat modifiers below add up to 0%.
Collateral damage from Chuck Noris and Home Guard reduced this unit to 86/100 HP
          100% * 86% * 5 strength = 4.30
          • Combat Odds : 71.0%
          • Plot Defense : +20%
          • City Attack : -20%
          • Combat : -50%
          • Combat : +50%

          • Chairman Yang's Blood Axe Clan (Axeman) is hit for 19 (05/100 HP)
          • The Bunch's Axeman is hit for 20 (06/100 HP)
          • Chairman Yang's Blood Axe Clan (Axeman) is hit for 19 (00/100 HP)
          • The Bunch's Axeman has defeated Chairman Yang's Blood Axe Clan (Axeman)!

Chairman Yang's The Lumberers (Axeman) (5.00) vs The Bunch's Axeman (0.36)
The combat modifiers below add up to +20%.
Previous damage reduced this unit to 6/100 HP
          120% * 6% * 5 strength = 0.36
          • Combat Odds : 100%
          • Plot Defense : +20%
          • Combat : -50%
          • Combat : +50%
          • Chairman Yang's The Lumberers (Axeman) is hit for 15 (85/100 HP)
          • The Bunch's Axeman is hit for 25 (0/100 HP)
          • Chairman Yang's The Lumberers has defeated The Bunch's Axeman!

A few remarks about the combat modifiers :
=> The plot defense +20% : This modifier is listed for every battle, except for the one against the chariot. This is the cultural defense bonus for a city with 1 border expansion.
=> Combat +50%, Combat -50% : This is the +50% bonus for axemen and chucks when fighting melee units. The banana axes don't get it when fighting chucks (because a chuck is not a melee unit), but they do get that bonus when fighting our axes. We receive the bonus everytime, except when fighting their chariot.
=> City Attack : -20% : This was the city attack upgrade for our (now dead) Blood Axe Clan.
=> Fortify : +5% : Only The Bunch's Itchy got this. He was probably upgraded one turn ago. The other axe must have been moved (or whipped) this turn. Chariots never get defensive bonuses.

Now, some more role-play oriented analysis:
=> The first battle between Chuck Noris and The Bunch's Itchy (Axeman).
Both units start fully healed. Chuck Noris uses his semi-automatic crossbow and *almost* kills Itchy (4% health left). Itchy begs for mercy, swearing to be true to The One Yang, Chuck Noris gives in and tries to help Itchy stand up. Itchy backstabs Chuck Noris (down to 52% health). Chuck Noris kills Itchy.

=> The second battle between Home Guard and The Bunch's Chariot.
The chariot had some collateral damage (92% health) from Chuck Noris' arrows. Home Guard uses his semi-automatic crossbow, but unlike Chuck Noris doesn't give in to beggings for mercy and kills the Chariot without it having any chance to fight back.

=> The third battle between our Blood Axe Clan and The Bunch's Axeman.
The Bunch's Axeman starts wounded (86% health)) due to collateral damage from both chucks. Appart from that, the battle is perfectly even (all combat modifiers equal each other out). The battle goes on pretty even untill both units are practically dead (5% <=> 6% health). At that moment, the completely crippled Banana axe somehow kills our Home Guard by putting a banana in Home Guard's mouth, preventing him to breath.

=> The fourth battle between our Lumberers and The completely crippled Bunch axeman.
Our Lumberers (not really military trained) moves in to rescue Blood Axe Clan. They are too late, and while mourning about the loss of their friends, the crippled banana axe somehow swings his axe into one of the lumberers legs. In a furious reaction, our Lumberers kill the completely crippled Bunch axeman, before the continue to mourn their lost friends.

It's not completely roleplayed yet, but the potential for a story is clearly there.

Now I'll do some foreign intelligence.
