My game or the sav must be screwed up-im not seeing any forests on the map now.
This couldnt be because i am now playing a different(older) patch?-- What history has taught us is that people do not learn from history.

Military turn report:
There are now 2 axemen and a chariot in the mash
We attack with two chucks and two axemen:
Alas one of the axemen was lost, due to the fact that the second chuck had the chariot as prefered defender
only 26 gold, that makes our research on 100% for only 2 turns
but we get to keep the mash !
Our scout lured the axemen out of splitsville and moves out of his reach towards the mash.
Now sending the turn to the domestic advisor.Last edited by -SafaN-; July 22, 2007, 05:20.

- capital dead in 3 turns if no more units appear there, more if they do
- the road south of mash will speed up movement south, expect arriving at Splitsville a turn earlier than expected
- mash needs a name!
- worker in north starts on road towards wheat
- missionary reaches Hong Kong
- fishing boat reaches the fish
- road up to mash finished
- Chairman Yang has completed The Great Lighthouse!
- Literature in 3 turns, hopefully by then we capture cap to fuel more 100% research.
We need to decide what are we doing in cap while Literature is not here.
I propose starting on Monastery. It adds only 10%, but its 3beakers/turn already and more later.
Besides, we don't have much other choices - we can't build units, because they'd get decayed while we finish Library and there are only so much buildings to be built.
Temple is the other option, but we'll not reach 9 pop until the Library whip, after which it'll be some time until we get back to 8 from 4. Besides, we need more health to support 9 pop.Last edited by -SafaN-; July 22, 2007, 05:21.-- What history has taught us is that people do not learn from history.

what about a missionary for the mash?
We also have some storytelling to do:
A possibility for the wonder:
"Sir, the workers report that the fields are clear. The lumber will be transfered to our stocks soon"
"What should we do with it?"
"We could make a great bonfire, and sing songs, and we call it ... woodstock"
"Yeah, and get drunk as pigs as last time? Dream on."
"Umm, ok then... Here's an idea - a friend of mine, being a sailor says that the light from Coolossus is very nice when sailing along the trade route, whilst it be higher and brighter, it'd make sailing even easier. Our wine..erm..horse imports would certainly not suffer from it."
"You and your drinking obsession! Be gone!"
a few minutes later ...
"You there! Yes, you, you and you too, get those oxen online! I want this wood to the port. Move it, move it!"
We also need to post someting in the public forum about the mash.
Any input is welcomeLast edited by -SafaN-; July 22, 2007, 04:29.

So, we're finally going forward again.
- We should post the announcement of the lighthouse in the public forum now.
- Some text about the attack on Mash should be prepared and posted the moment banana gets the turn. (We don't want to spoil the surprise for them, but we also don't want to be beaten with a public message by them).
Summary of the attack:
2 chucks + 2 axes <=> 2 axes + 1 chariot
chuck <=> axe : wins (... health left) + collateral damage
chuck <=> chariot : wins (... health left) + collateral damage
axe <=> axe : looses (defender has only 0.3/5 health left)
axe <=> axe : wins (... health left) and takes the city - Prepare a todo list for next turn.
What is the current war plan ? I guess all units that took part in the assault on Mash will move towards Being, but what do we do with Splitsville ? Leave it alone for a while or immediately send a unit or two (those who are still walking towards Mash) down there too?no sig

Originally we were thinking about dividing our forces, but with lost axeman we shouldn't risk and instead go for Beijing first while others heal at mash.-- What history has taught us is that people do not learn from history.

OK, banana just received the turn, so a report about the attack on Mash will be necessary. They'll probably post something first though about their victory over our axe unit.
As Safan is on holiday now, he won't post his lighthouse text, so I assume somebody else can do it.no sig
