  • That might be an idea, say that Vox have always conducted diplomacy quickly and efficiently and as diplomacy is essential to success we are considering assisting them if GS continue to refuse communication.

    • So you think its more likely they are deliberately neglecting diplomacy rather than being inactive?

So if merc and sarantium are allied why would we be threatening our ally? GS has already been a bit paranoid i noticed, in the early parts of this thread.

      • No I am sure they're just disorganised, but if they continue to be disorganised we will both lose for sure. I think we should show them how important it is to us that we talk.

        • This DG has too many teams for them to all remain active, as usual.

          • Yeah, well, PBEMs are much more intensive in action, even diplomatic, though there's only acting 1on1.

            • Threatening GS at this point would be unwise in my opinion, if we want peace it will ruin that and if we want war it will tip them off.

              • we want communication, if you have another way to get it that doesn't risk anything that would be perfect.

                • I agree with impaler. Whether we want peace or war, threatening GS is a bad idea.

                  • You'd both rather risk no tech trades than risk making them suspicious of us?

                    Comment

                    • I think we should first at least try to propose a techtrade in-game. Their turnplayer seems active enough, and from his message to bt, it seems the team has some discussion about it, but no-one steps up to formulate a formal answer. If we just propose it in-game and send them a diplomacy message at the same time to tell them we did so, they can accept/decline/modify the trade proposal without having to write up some message.

                      • How about sending them a urgant PM requesting cooperation in a Out Of Character voice? IE turnplayer to turnplayer not AC to GS. And dont mention war.

And send them an ingame offer too

                          • yeah we're past that point, we can offer the trade next turn and see what happens.

                            • I agree to the in-game offer, let's do it next turn and see what happens.

We could also offer Currency vs Monarchy and our IOU cleared, if they don't like this deal, what do you think?
