    It certainly seems like I possess a minority (or sole) opinion in this matter.

    I suppose it is part of those American attitudes of don't trust the government, and checks and balances on the government.

    A robust discussion of ideas is certainly important in maintaining a democratic society.

    Thank you all for your time and consideration of this matter.

    I will now devote more time to my other proposals.
