Never use Priority Airmail from the States. It actually took them 3 days to put it on a freaking plane.

Any ideas where to buy it in Germany when you live in Utrecht? Some close to the border city or something.
Oberhausen or Duisburg I guess, though I don't know those cities and it's deepish into Germany. Maybe Kleve, but that's a pretty small town, no guarantee they'd have it, and you can only get there by car. You could certainly try Gronau, right over the border and Tventano got it there so they have it, but from Utrecht it would probably cost you half a day to get there and back. If you're a student with an OV, that's probably the cheapest option though
Meanwhile, I've decided I would be an idiot to spent 20 euro on 'benzine' to buy a game that I will get probably tuesday anyway. And it would take me 4 hours and I'm not even sure it's not sold out.
As far as I understand it, the game itself is in english but the chart(?) and the manual is translated in dutch.
this is a comment from someone on a different forum about the translation:
It looks like someone translated the manual and tech tree who normally is used to do teletubby-translations. And I'm pretty sure he is Dutch and not Flemish too, seeing all the bogus words for perfectly acceptable English terms. (for instance, 'promotion' is normally translated to 'promotie', especially in military context. Not into 'bevordering'. And drill remains drill, not 'oefening' which means 'exercise'.)

You guys must be among the first to play the Dutch version!
Nice going!
(not that you'll read this for a few months to come of course )
Has it a dutch manual and techtree?
Yes, dutch manual; with all the english terms from the game, thank god (from whichever state religion you have). And a quite useless techtree in Dutch, with every technology translated into Dutch (iew).
E-Plaza also has Age of Empires 3 in the store right now, but was not allowed to sell it until November 4th (stupid Microsoft). Well, won't have time for that game for the coming months....

That's the problem with, all they've done is turn it into a puzzle. Those who don't understand english now have to compare icons on screen to the ones on the chart...what good is that.
Ah well...
