National holyday here and it's a religious one, so I thought it'd be the same for you guys.

I think 'national' is the key word here, alva As much as I know you'd like to join us, we're still two different countries We don't do religious holidays over here, only commercial ones

Dang, wasn't keeping an eye on my flank there...left the door wide open, didn't I.

You do have one on the 11th right?

                    Yes you did

Uhm, no, unless that's the 'intocht van Sinterklaas' Next holiday is Sinterklaas, next 'national' holiday where most people get a day off (and everyone else a big bonus, yay! ) is Christmas I think.

The Dutch don't celebrate "All hallowed's day".
                      Belgians get a 4-day weekend.

And, oh, yeah, I GOT THE GAME ! Got it yesterday
at noon, gamemania , they only had one copy.

                      20 minutes later, I realised I needed a new
                      graphics card.

30 minutes later, I was installing one.

40 minutes later, Spock was talking to me

Thank God they rolled the clock back an hour
last night, I really needed the extra sleep.

Now excuse me while I touch the sky.

Forgot, the Dutch also don't celebrate Nov 11th,
armistice day, since that commemorates the
end of World War One, and the Dutch weren't
                        actually IN that one.

Did not play CIV IV because of performance issues
New PC arrived about 13th of August, so CIV IV is finally playable for me! :)

Well, I think I will try to get a copy on Monday. The reactions about civIV are positive enough!

I don't know how many. Better call them fast!

edit : it actually has a dutch techtree, pretty dumb when the games is in english imho.
After seeing this post I went over there yesterday and they still had a copy (or two, or more, whatever, important thing was they had it! ) left, but my damn pin-pass wouldn't work anywhere so I asked them to keep a copy reserved for the day after; which they were cool enough to do.

Ofcourse the extra night without cIV was horrible, and it took some time to confince my parents to 'prepay' it for me (bah @ stupid pin-pass)... But... I have it now and am ready to install it now.

For those in the region of Utrecht: There still was at least one other copy as far as I could see so if you can't wait to get the game I'd advise to check that store, soon.

(And this is my first post ever on Apolyton. ^_^ )
