After a call to gamemania, I was told that
the game is en route and will arrive today
for certain.

As I suspected, it is delayed due to the
general strike going on in Belgium at the
moment.

It could already be at some stores. My advice,
call them first.

Yeah, you picked a great time to make the whole country go on strike, couldn't you have waited a a few days longer so you could've played Civ in that time?

Got my preordered game from the USA this morning, had to pay an additional 22 euro!!!!! (douane kosten or something)

I checked Media Markt Utrecht today, and several regular game shops, but they all said 2 november.

Well, with an half hour to go before my local
gamemania closes, and they haven't called
yet, I think it's safe to say I'm looking at
a civ-free evening

Stupid .::$$mù strike.

AND I'm probably gonna need a new video/graphic
card too to play it.



Oh well, with any luck, I'll get everything I need
tomorrow.

Guess I'll have to go and have a social life tonight
or something.

I went to about 5 shops in Utrecht at 17.30 and none had it. Most said they expected it later next week but two said they had expected it today but they didn't get it.

The next date they give is Tuesday, but I'm gonna try tomorrow just to be sure.

I got the game yesterday from gamemania Kortrijk myself. (pricy at 49.95€ but at least I played the game last night )

It's a DVD version with a dutch manual. No errors yet.

Guess that's what you get for wanting to play the game in the little used english language Maybe the U.N. can setup a protection funds for it.

Might you find it in the Utrecht regio, pls post here! So far no luck.Got one ordered but called the nearby shops anyway. Not that it mattered.

1 or 2 november for the mediamarkt here. I called dixons yesterday and well they claimed the 2nd. So a few more days.

Besides im totally unskilled at german. Id rather have a manual i can read.
