The only thing better than reading that update is thinking of the recriminations going on in PAL's forum

PALs presence in the The Channel is down to a single port city with low production. In 15 turns we will have three developed port cities there (Uxmal, Mayapan, Calakmul).

Ok, PAL claims that Banana double moved to raze The Warning.
Now on first sight this claim looks hilarious. We have evidence that the Banana Galleon was next to Acre and within striking distance for a couple of turns. The attack actually got delayed by one turn, due to the second galleon gifting disaster and the increases defense at TheW.
However, if I understand it correctly the claim might be that Banana moved their galleon SW of the staging tile during Banana's 24hours and then back onto the staging tile after PAL played. Now I doubt that Donovan has done that and there were like a 6 RB players logged in between those two instance, who should confirm that the Galleon stayed next to Acre. Otherwise we would have seen lots of raised eyebrow comments in the forum here.

Hmmm, PAL might just get confused by Banana having two galleons in the area?

PAL has definitely got it wrong: they are referring to the Galleon that was scouting Thebes, not the one that was on the staging tile which they never had sight of. No need for us to explain this in the disputes thread though.

If you guys can give me screenshots showing that Banana didn't double move the attacking galleon that would be useful.
You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.

I was under the impression that Banana scouted Thebes from the eastern shore.
I thought they only had two Galleons at Omni Point, one which moved onto the staging tile and the second (wounded) which was gifted to us the turn afterwards. Could be they had a third Galleon in the Channel and this is the one thy gifted to us. Would explain the injury.

Well, anyway, I never saw that attacking galleon in a different spot than next to Acre.

Seems like PAL got it wrong, thinking that there was only one Galleon.

Anyway, we could follow up NTSC with using our new Galleon and ship a couple of units to the culture free tile NW of TheW to pillage that town for cash and denial.

We might even be able to threaten Mayapan and give PAL a headache.

Not sure we'll have any screenshots of the area in question around the end of turn in question, though I will check when I get home from work. I think the quickest way to the bottom of it is to ask PAL where they saw the Galleon that they think Banana attacked with. If it's the one by Omni Point then they're wrong.
