We have spotted an PAL caravel sailing west from our continent some turn ago. I think PAL will get the Magellan bonus.

Dear Realms and Imperio,

Team Banana is fine with this arrangement. We are halfway to Gunpowder now, but we can agree to a trade with Imperio for Banking. I hope Imperio likes this --- we can get Gunpowder in 4 turns if we do it ourselves.

Banana would like to request an NAP with Imperio. We would also like to know how much time they have left in any existing NAP with PAL.

Please let us know by the end of this turn so we can change research if needed.

Well, things seem to be moving along nicely with Imperio and Banana. Let's hope that the Spaniards are checking their email box and respond to us in timely fashion.

We can actually give banana horses next turn (T153) instead of T154 since we will have no knights in the queue. We probably should as we could potentially argue to get them back a turn sooner too.

I can read it fine. Is Artemis worth it for Banana, or is that a silly build?

They can do it in just 5 turns (~80hpt). Bananapolis already gets +40% trade route bonus from it's size. It makes sense to stack the +1005 from ToA here. And it gets them Great Merchant points.
Shrug.
Better than not not having it.
They are industrious after all.

I can read it fine. Artemis I suppose is an OK build. If you're going to build it, may as well do it in a size 16 coastal city

Also it's handy to have it in bananaland if we ever get a great merchant, since we have a safe ToA city to cash it in.

Only downside is if PAL capture it

EDIT: Also, while I was logged in they revolted to Caste System. A good choice what with being in representation and having massive cities.

Banana also confirmed that the Imperio galley is moving away from us, so it doesn't appear to be heading for a sneak-attack on Red Herring. Good to know.
