Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
I like Bluebell Wood, and then I can use "BW" when I'm feeling lazy.
Scouting suggestion from mh duly noted for our galley... although you'll probably log into the game next turn before I will!
T-Hawk, China Beach will grow in 2t from right now, or 1t after we finish the lighthouse on the next turn. How about one turn into a forge, then swap to worker after growth to size 6?
Perfect, Sullla. I ran the numbers to T128, assuming whipping the worker after one turn of investment, and taking into account Winston's mine finishing on T127. Your plan comes out to 2F 3H ahead of doing the worker right away without growing to 6. I think 2F 3H is worth more than one turn of worker labor.
T124: size 5, 21/30 food, producing 4F, 68H (doubled) into lighthouse.
T125: size 5, 25/30 food, producing 5F, 7H, 4H overflow. Put one turn into forge (now at 11H.)
T126: size 6, 15/30 food, producing 4F, 8H into worker.
T127: size 6, 15/30 food, worker at 12/60. Double whip it.
T127 post whip: size 4, 15/26 food, worker at 72/60. Producing +6F +7H into worker (with Winston's mine.)
T128: size 4, 21/26 food with forge at 36H.
BTW, the turn report got slightly ahead of itself. Parsons is not yet on the dyes tile at Something Fishy, he'll get there next turn (T125).
Hercules of the Templars complained about a time out and how they could not finish their turn with 26mins on the clock. However, I could log in just fine after him and have notified him via post and PM.
Anyway, T125:
Buddhism spread to Cape Town. Yay.
First view into a Banana city (Doal - a miserable desert spot it seems.)
Only moved the scouting warrior 1E to reveal another PAL stack. One more movement left (SE) for Sullla. In case you want to grab a screenie of the stack.
I suggest moving LAdy Godiva into a position tocheck what Lakamha finished.
Hercules does have a point though: game is running extremely slowly, looks like the server needs to be rebooted. In addition to what mostly_harmless posted:
- Three cities grew in size (Something Fishy, Green Acres, Mellow Yellow), and two more will grow next turn (China Beach, Cape Town). Some of our whipping penalties are slowly wearing off!
- Our new city founded, Bluebell Woods. It actually only added 7gpt to our costs, because it saved us some money in unit support costs (we're way over the allowed amount).
- Helmholtz finished the Airstrip One/Cape Town road, and has the next mission of building a road to Bluebell Woods, to get some trade route income rolling there. (Yes, I goofed by not having Bernard work on this earlier!)
- New war elephant at Cape Town. Anyone want to suggest a name?
- I moved all the units/workers except for Energetic Erik. I think the best move for him is 2N to the grassland hill tile, to mine/road that one, but I've left his movement alone for the moment in case someone sees something better. Any suggestions?
- Imperio finished maces in Mutal and Lakamha, just as we suspected they were building. You really have to wonder about this team. Despite some of the most fertile land I've ever seen, they still haven't built a single library anywhere in their territory! Instead, they keep spamming military endlessly. If their attack fails, they're going to be completely screwed, because they've spent about 15 turns now doing nothing but building military, and their infrastructure is really not good.
Imperio really SHOULD attack Templars, but I still think they want a piece of us. Fat chance though, as we can handle their current stack without serious problems.
I'll put together some kind of State of the Empire thing tonight, as it's T125. For the moment, things are looking pretty good.

That worker guy camping the deer needs to put a road on the deer tile anyway (A1 has reached its health cap and gets one forest less next turn, so it needs the deer.) From the deer its just 2 tiles roads to BW.

'Ivory Bell' - in honour of our new city

IF the religion spread to CT does not happen again, do we complain and demand a reload from a save after the turn ticked over?
After all, it gives us access to a new religion.
Unlikely because one could reload 100 times and still not see buddhism spread to the same city. We should make this point in the connection thread. I'll go and do it now.
