      Might be easier if someone digs into the code to find the formula.

        Can we see whether we can bring down the ETA to Oracle, bying switch to scout this turn and completing Priesthood in 1 turn? Is there time to get A1 to size 6 and whipping Oracle after 1 chop? Desperate ideas I know...

          Here is the latest proposed Oracle build at A1 ...

          Turn 89 (0):
          2 x workers onto Marble tile

          Turn 90 (1):
          2 worker turns into quarry (4 turns to go)

          Turn 91 (2):
          2 worker turns into quarry (2 turns to go)

          Turn 92 (3):
          quarry finished
          worker at A1 1 turn away from forest chop
          A1 finishes worker - worker moves to pre chopped forest
          A1 starts Oracle (15 hammers)
          Oracle Status (150 start of turn / 135 end of turn)

          Turn 93 (4):
          road finished - marble connected
          2 x forest chop (20 raw hammers)
          A1 -> Oracle (15)
          Oracle Status (135 / 135 - [15 + 2 x 20] x 2 = 25

          Turn 94 (5):
          A1 -> Oracle (15)
          Oracle Status (25, finishes)

          Turn 95 (6):
          Oracle completes
          I've detailed 3 other options below, 1 of which is worse and the other 2 are just the same. I don't think we can improve on T95. I wish we had said T96 or T97 to PAL.

          Other Options

          A1 swaps to Oracle ASAP
          This involves A1 swapping to the Oracle as soon as possible and have the worker at A1 chop both forests. This isn't going to work as the second forest chop will occur on T95 at which point A1 finishes the Oracle normally on T96.

          A1 swaps to Oracle ASAP, bring in worker from CapeTown
          This involves A1 swapping to the Oracle as soon as possible and have the worker at A1 chop one forest with the other forest chopped by the worker currently at Capetown. This isn't going to work as the second forest chop will occur on T94 and the Oracle finishes on T95.

          Turn 89 (0):
          2 x workers onto Marble tile
          Tech Priesthood in 1 turn
          Worker @ Capetown heads to pre-chopped forest (5)

          Turn 90 (1):
          2 worker turns into quarry (4 turns to go)
          A1 starts Oracle (15 hammers)
          Oracle Status (150 start of turn / 135 end of turn)
          Worker @ Capetown moves to pre-chopped forest (4 turns)

          Turn 91 (2):
          2 worker turns into quarry (2 turns to go)
          A1 -> Oracle (15)
          Oracle Status (135 / 120)
          Worker @ Capetown (3)

          Turn 92 (3):
          quarry finished
          worker at A1 1 turn away from forest chop
          A1 -> Oracle (15)
          Oracle Status (120 / 105)
          Worker @ Capetown (2)

          Turn 93 (4):
          road finished - marble connected
          1 x forest chop (20 raw hammers)
          A1 -> Oracle (15)
          Oracle Status (105 / 105 - [15 + 20] x 2 = 35)
          Worker from Capetown arrives at pre chopped forest

          Turn 94 (5):
          1 x forest chop (20 raw hammers)
          A1 -> Oracle (15)
          Oracle Status (35 / more than enough)

          Turn 95 (6):
          Oracle completes

          A1 swaps to Oracle ASAP, one chop without Marble, one with
          This involves A1 swapping to the Oracle as soon as possible and have the worker at A1 chop one forest with the other forest chopped by the worker currently at Capetown. This isn't going to work as the second forest chop will occur on T94 and the Oracle finishes on T95.

          A1 Worker Chop [1]
          Oracle Status (150 start of turn / 135 end of turn)

          Turn 91 (2):
          2 worker turns into quarry (2 turns to go)
          A1 -> Oracle (15)
          A1 Worker Chop [2]
          Oracle Status (135 / 120)

          Turn 92 (3):
          quarry finished
          A1 -> Oracle (15)
          A1 Worker Chop (20 hammers)
          Oracle Status (120 / 85)

          Turn 93 (4):
          road finished - marble connected
          A1 worker moves to pre-chopped forest
          A1 -> Oracle (15)
          Oracle Status (85, 55)

          Turn 94 (5):
          1 x forest chop (20 raw hammers)
          A1 -> Oracle (15)
          Oracle Status (55 / more than enough)

            The whip isn't going to come into play as we need to get the hammers to go down below 60 at the start of a turn - then we can whip for 2 pop.

            unless ... we put 14 hammers in to a scout and whip it to completion next turn ...

            Turn 89 (0):

            Turn 90 (1):
            2 worker turns into quarry (4 turns to go)
            A1 -> scout (14 hammers)
            A1 Worker Chop [1]
            Oracle Status (150 start of turn / 150 end of turn)

            Turn 91 (2):
            2 worker turns into quarry (2 turns to go)
            A1 whips scout for 1 pop, overflow = 30 + 13 - 1 = 42 (does all the overflow go into the Oracle or does it get halved?)
            forget all of this because the bloody system limits the overflow to the size of the previous build - ie 15 hammers ... we would have to whip something pretty substantial to get any benefit
            A1 Worker Chop [2]
            Oracle Status (150 / 150)

            Turn 92 (3):
            quarry finished
            A1 -> Oracle (13)
            A1 Worker Chop (20 hammers)
            Oracle Status (150 / 150 - 42 - 13 - 20 = 75)

            Turn 93 (4):
            road finished - marble connected
            A1 worker moves to pre-chopped forest
            A1 -> Oracle (13)
            Oracle Status (75, 49)

            Turn 94 (5):
            1 x forest chop (20 raw hammers)
            A1 -> Oracle (13)
            Oracle Status (49 / more than enough)

            Turn 95 (6):
            Oracle completes
            Either way - it doesn't help us.

                Hang on...what if we 1pop whip the worker with Marble connected and put the overflow into Oracle. Would this make any difference?

                  check this out - could be wrong on the overflow - will test in war game ...

                  Turn 89 (0):
                  2 x workers onto Marble tile

                  Turn 90 (1):

                  Turn 91 (2):
                  2 worker turns into quarry (2 turns to go)
                  worker being built at A1 (51/60) is whipped (30 overflow)

                  Turn 92 (3):
                  quarry finished
                  worker at A1 1 turn away from forest chop
                  A1 finishes worker - worker moves to pre chopped forest

                  Oracle Status (150 start of turn / 150 - 30 - 13 = 107 end of turn)

                  Turn 93 (4):

                  2 x forest chop (20 raw hammers)
                  A1 -> Oracle (13)
                  Oracle Status (107 / 107 - [13 + 2 x 20] x 2 = 1) <-- 1 friggen hammer again

                  Turn 94 (5):
                  A1 -> Oracle (13)
                  Oracle Status (1, finishes)

                  Turn 95 (6):
                  Oracle completes
                  Edit: No prob - we can move one cottage to mine on turn T91 to get that extra hammer. Now it just needs to be tested in the war-game game.

                    Quite note Ruff: Airstrip One can get to a max of 16 shields/turn at 2 food/turn deficit (at size 5). Does that allow you to get past the 1 shield remaining, and avoid whipping the capital? (which we'd prefer not to do)

                      Sullla ... here is the projection if we move to max hammers at capital ... you aren't going to like it (and can someone please check my maths)

                      Turn 89 (0):
                      2 x workers onto Marble tile

                      2 worker turns into quarry (4 turns to go)
                      Worker @ A1 (11 / finished with 5 overflow)

                      Turn 91 (2):
                      2 worker turns into quarry (2 turns to go)
                      Worker @ A1 completes - moves to chop
                      A1 starts Oracle
                      Oracle Status (150 start of turn / 150 - 5 - 16 = 129 end of turn)

                      Turn 92 (3):
                      quarry finished
                      worker at A1 1 turn away from forest chop
                      A1 -> Oracle (16)
                      Oracle Status (129 / 113)

                      Turn 93 (4):
                      road finished - marble connected
                      2 x forest chop (20 raw hammers)
                      A1 -> Oracle (16)

                      Turn 94 (5):
                      A1 -> Oracle (13)
                      Oracle Status (1, finishes)

                      Turn 95 (6):
                      Oracle completes
                      I just thought of something - back in a sec...

                          so we can finish the Oracle on T94 but we have to have 3 hammer overflow from finishing the worker

                          OR

                          put 28 hammers into the oracle pre Marble ...

                          BUT ...

                          the biggest item is that we have to start the Oracle next turn - which means we must finish Priesthood this turn!

                          THUS ...

                          we can put 14 hammers into worker at capital but I am pretty sure we will have to modify all of our other cities to max commerce for 1 turn.

                              Great work, Ruff! But... I don't want to see us bend over backwards for a wonder we're almost certainly not going to get anyway.

                              My vote is to stick with the T95 plan (which involves no whipping, crazy production swaps, and delays chops until the very end) and see what happens.

                                I'm fine with that. In which case, I would suggest that this is
                                the approach that we adopt ...

                                Turn 89 (0):
                                2 x workers onto Marble tile

                                Turn 90 (1):
                                2 worker turns into quarry (4 turns to go)

                                Turn 91 (2):
                                2 worker turns into quarry (2 turns to go)

                                Turn 92 (3):
                                quarry finished
                                worker at A1 1 turn away from forest chop
                                A1 finishes worker - worker moves to pre chopped forest
                                A1 starts Oracle (15 hammers)
                                Oracle Status (150 start of turn / 135 end of turn)

                                Turn 93 (4):
                                road finished - marble connected
                                A1 -> Oracle (15)
                                Oracle Status (135 / 105)

                                Turn 94 (5):
                                A1 -> Oracle (15)
                                2 x forest chop (20 raw hammers)
                                Total hammer production 110
                                Oracle Status (105, finishes)

                                Turn 95 (6):
                                Oracle completes
                                So that we don't waste our 'GLib' forests until the last turn.
