That was me, with the long login.
I will log out now, so you can play the turn.
I am currently putting together another Cloak & Dagger update.
    Sorry.

No problems m_h; cloak and dagger is certainly a worthy cause! I was just worried that someone had logged in then forgot about it.

      Here's the turn report:

Winston our worker climbed his plains hill to mine next turn. The lion attacked the Templar's brave quechua, and only damaged him to 1.5 health. Tracy continued eastwards, but is now in the open.

Our prince invinsibility cloak is used up, for a lion from the fog attacked Sharon. She survived with full health, and then went on to pop that hut. It gave us ...

another scout! Doreen has come to the party! Great news.

Horse on a river for Templar. Chances are good that they will head that way with their second city providing they research AH any time soon.

As mostly_harmless points out, the location of those horses are good and bad. Bad in the sense that the Templars have easy access to horses. Good in the sense that they will have to burn a settler there to gain control of them (the 100-culture expansion won't grab them, so it's wait until the 500-culture point or plop a city down). It would be really good news for us if they placed their second city right by the capital, effectively ceding much of the west and north to our settlement. I'm hoping that they will take that spot.

We definitely want to move Tracy one tile SE next turn, which should give us a view of Jerusalem itself! Have to do it now, because the borders will expand there in two turns. For the other two, I think we should send Doreen into the southern darkness, while Sharon moves to the northeast. Tracy would then explore southeast, Sharon northeast, and Doreen clean up everything to the west of the Templars. Obviously this assumes they all stay alive! With some luck, we'll have a really good view of the starting continent.

Also note that we have both stone and marble in easy range. I think that we should forego early wonders to focus on expansion, but those will come in handy later on. We could even trade them to another civ for major concessions, potentially.

I am not sure Tracy is the best to go southeast. There is a good chance that the Templars have a coastal start. in that case Tracy has to retrace her step around the Templars west side to go into the southeast.
On the other hand Templars could just sit on an frehwater lake. In that case Tracy can move southwards.

Either way, I think Tracy is better used to head east asap to meet the other civ and clear up the norht east.
            Sharon can check the southeast.

            What do you think?

Sooooo, I am away for 48 hours. Can you please make the screenshots for the Ministry of Truth? (demo screen, top5 cities, ingame score)
              Thanks in advance.

Yep, can do. My plan with the scouts was to sent Tracy to seek the yellow civ. If someone wants to log in and move the scout 1E then 1S onto the hill. Sharon would join Tracy to the east and Doreen would go south. I think this is what Sullla suggested.

If someone wants to log in when the turn clicks over and move the scout 1E then 1S we will hopefully see the Templars' capital and can answer Ruff's question on religion. Am at work right now and can't do it.

Alright. Sulla puts on his turn-player's hat and moves Tracy as requested:

We do indeed get a view of Jerusalem, as hoped. There's all sorts of interesting info here:

                  - First of all, the Templars got a very lousy starting spot. (Why didn't they move on the first turn?) They have one cattle tile, and that's about it. Of course, with our luck, they'll probably have copper on that bare plains tile... It's possible that they have a water resource that we can't see.

The land that we can see is pretty bad though. Three peak tiles? Ouch. Scrutinizing the fog closely, we can see that the tile between the two peaks is a grassland forest, the tile east of the sugar is jungle, and the tile immediately south of the city is also jungle. We can also see the mouth of the river in the southeast, so figure about 4-5 water tiles as well. All in all, pretty underwhelming.

                  - We can also see what tiles the Templars are currently working. They are using the 3/0/0 grassland cows, and that makes it a certainty that the other tile being worked is one of the 2/1/0 grassland forests. Obviously we will quickly surpass this city in growth, since we already have a pasture on our cattle.

                  - There is no defender in Jerusalem, not that we can do a whole lot about it.

                  - If we're going to make recommendations about the horses, better do it soon, since it's inevitable that the Templars will go for Animal Husbandry sooner rather than later, with that cattle tile. I would guess that they're building a worker as we speak (if not, they are REALLY slowing down the growth curve).

Plenty of food for thought. I left the other units unmoved, so someone will still have to log in and play the rest of the turn.

If I was given that start with a seafood resource, I would probably not research Meditation out the gate. Given this is multiplayer, and they seem to be role playing to some extent, who knows?

The tile southwest of the city is a clean grassland hill.
And we know for sure that there is one water tile in the first ring which is to the south-east.
2 east of the city is another clean grassland hill, judging from the fog bleeding.

                          i. Keep in mind that there is a 1/4 chance that they popped AH in turn 21.

ii. Turn 23 just opened up and Jerusalem has grown to size 3, so no worker yet for the Templars. Makes you wonder what they are building instead? Monastery?

                            • I have moved our scouts but not finished the turn because I was unsure what to do with our new warrior and still waiting for more reponsed on what tile to work in our capital.

                              Tracy's info:

And Doreen's corner looks exceedingly fertile.

Our capital: Does anyone have a plan on how to employ our new warrior?

In SP, I would remove the fog near the Clams to the west.
