Should Sharon be attacked she will be saved by the prince invincibility cloak.

This is a democracy game so Sharon and Tracy are just placeholders in case the [s]unwashed masses[/s] team decide on other names. Sharon and Tracy are stereotypical names of Essex Girls, fairly apt I thought for scouts aiming to "get around a bit". They were also characters, along with Doreen, in an old British sitcom. I also found it amusing to name the workers after men and the military after women.

OK, Sharon wasn't attacked and moved west. Tracy continued her path NE around the incans.

Winston finished his pasture (well done Winston!).

7 turns to bronze working. 4 turns to both our first warrior completing and our city growing to size 2.

For Sharon, I'd go a row to the south, because she is currently revealing tiles that will be revealed by our border popping in a few turns anyway. (So maybe take a step SW next turn.)

                Turn 20 has been played.

We will pop a hut next turn.

Nice scouting. Maybe we'll even get a tech from the hut, eh? About time, given that we've popped four or five of them already.

Looking at the map, I like the possibility of sending a settler (maybe even the first one!) to the plains hill one tile south of the rice. That would make a dynamite city location: cattle, rice, dyes (remember, we're Creative with cheap theatres!), at least four hill tiles, tons of forests for chopping, and in a fertile river valley. In fact, that spot is so good it could be the deleted Babylonian starting spot. (Maybe; hard to say what the map creator did.) With our Creative early cultural strength, that location would also largely block off Templar expansion to the west. We know there is an as-yet undiscovered ocean to the south. If we could get them to push east, and clean up much of the western side of our continent...

The big question would be could we defend the spot? With PAL or Imperio next door, I would say no. With the Templars next door, I say yes. So what do you think about a possible Santa Rosa manuever?

                    Indeed a nice spot.
I assume the Santa Rosa maneuver is an insider from one of your SGs?
Whipping / Chopping a settler asap and landing that city site? Backing it up with 3 warriors?

If we settle there, we can forget friendly relations. So I am in favor of settling there if we have Copper .

I agree with both Sulla and Darrell. So I think we should build up our defenses before settling there. (Remember that they already have at least 3 qeuchas.) My suggestion is:

                          1. If copper is at the capital, train an axe, then a settler.

                          2. If copper is at proposed location, train 2-3 warriors to protect it, settle there, and connect Copper ASAP.

                          3. If copper is elsewhere, settle there, and make Sulla's location city #3.

Keep in mind that the Templars will get a border pop on turn 23. So move Tracy along their current border to reveal as much as possible, before she gets expelled. I suggest aiming for that hill (in the fog) 1E+1SE from Tracy to get a good peek at their land before the border pop.

Oh, possibly someone logged in and then clicked exit to desktop instead of exit to main menu. This I think does not log you out properly.
