      • I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die.

          • Okay, who's willing to compose and sent a DoW message?

In my humble opinion we could use some extra troops before hittin' them good, so I'd suggest one of the following messages:

            Hi PaL,

From the Rabbit's end we don't see reason to change the tech trade which was already agreed upon earlier on. For the Rabbit's have no need for elephants at this moment, but Writing is necessary to quicken our research rate, so Monarchy can be delivered sooner.
Therefore we'd like to receive Writing from you at first opportunity, I gather in return for Priesthood and Meditation.

            Regards,
            The Great Caerbannog

PS: There's no need to worry about our research rates. As it looks now we could finish Monarchy in less then 25 turns.
            or:

            Hi PaL,

We would be happy to trade Meditation and Priesthood for Elephants and Writing in the same trade. This is way more efficient and would, in our opinion, make this a finished deal after which we can continue to the next agreement(s).

            Regards,
            The Great Caerbannog

Other suggestions, among which a written DoW, are of course welcome.

            • 3 axes, 1 spear is all we need.

Not even the spear if we know they can't make chariots.

We should NOT be warring for conquest at this moment, rather to harrass, annoy, piss off, and otherwise f*ck with their plans/brains, and keeping them pinned on the defensive while we expand naturally.

              • 3 Axes and a spear is what we'll have next turn, but we need 2 spears for sure because they'll have war elephants shortly. We can upgrade a warrior to a spearman, we have enough gold for that.
Also, that leaves nothing to keep Caerbannog and Diggers Burrow happy (we've hit the happiness limit there). Sure, we can switch to Slavery and start whipping, but that keeps ourselves down at this stage, so if we whip we're better off starting that after we have a few drones.

                • It would appear that I've gotten myself on a team where everyone lusts for blood.

                  Oh the rabbitities!

Perhaps we can beat on their economy enough that they give us the tech we need.

WILL they now? They're that close to construction? or did BTS change something? And, if they ARE that close to construction, elephants are the LEAST of our problem.

Every turn we delay now is a turn closer they DO get to construction. Harrass the holy hell out of em NOW.

                        I don't see this need.

Well, there's the use for that warrior, now, isn't it?

I personally think we've royally screwed ourselves by NOT whipping already, but whatever. DB is cranking out axes, right? they can be a bit unhappy for a couple turns, but you're going to hit that cap AGAIN, and WE SHOULD BE WHIPPING ANYWAY. It does NOT keep us down. It empowers us.

                        • Write a DoW?

PAL, we the Rabbits do hereby declare that a state of war is now in effect between our two nations.

Lets not spend any words justifying ourselves to them, they won't buy it anyway.

                            You are arrogant ****es.

                            • Having said that - I would prefer a way forward where we don't spend alot of time at war.

If there was anyway for all three civs on this continent to band together against the others, have good tech sharing plans etc - then I would be all for it.

But PAL has to learn that they cannot dictate, and they really should not insult the other teams.

                              It is a shame really.
