Nah, I'm making a most unusual graveyard to enter into a halloween art contest. I'ld post pics, but it would take too much explaination to have it make any sense right now.

Cross between some Guild Wars pics, Zulu and Dinka religious practices, with some special Halloween influences tossed in for good measure. All for a graveyard that fits my general yard theme, because my 5 year old wanted to make a graveyard.

It seems we completely forgot to sent a response on PAL's latest mail. The one in which they gave us their technology list.

As a reminder, this was the PAL mail:

Hi Rabbits,

Thanks for your response; it seems we are now moving in the right direction.

For the short terms lets get something in place to trade monarchy for alphabet – PAL are happy for you guys to go the south route and we pursue alphabet. But as a result we would obviously need meditation (or polytheism) and priesthood.

Here is a list of the technologies we currently have:

Fishing
Wheel
Agriculture
Mysticism
Mining
Bronze Working
Masonry (4 turns away)


We plan to get hutting next, followed by writing then alphabet. Could we get a similar list of your technologies? At the very least propose something of equal-ish bottles.

Once we have this trade agreed upon by both teams, we would suggest getting a longer term technology alliance/agreement/plan in place – But lets take it 1 step at a time, 48 hours per turn means we don’t have to rush anything.

We have team Banana on this island as well and have not met anyone else – We would prefer to discuss their involvement at a later date – They have already expressed no desire to win this game

As for world wonders, discussions would probably make more sense once we have a technology plan and know who is going for what. But just so we are on the same wavelength, what wonders are you guys particularly eager to build? You say you have masonry, therefore we assume you have stone or marble?

It’s pretty important we know, because we have stone and are industrial.

Lastly, we are still chasing a long term peace treaty, where do you guys stand with this? Building military can be rather wasteful for both teams; we would prefer only warriors, for garrison.

As on your request of our techlist, we have finished the following ones:

Animal Husbandry

Further more, we've about finished Sailing.

So, that's the first, honest, part. Now, are we going along with their mutual tech plan or not? We are in a good position to go for writing. We're also in a good position to follow their lead and take Meditation (which might give us a religion)-->Priesthood-->Monarchy.

Going along with this for now doesn't preclude us to backstab them later on, if such is the majority opinion when the time comes. Besides, as long as we don't actual say we'll be joining them in a long-term peace it's no backstabbing.

That keeps us simple and mostly honest. We don't come out and say we have marble or stone like they asked, but saying we are going for the Oracle implies marble. I tossed in the part about the Apostolic Palace as a red herring (unless there is a silent majority of rabbits that want the Apostolic Palace.)
