Settling on the stone hill has a definatre military advantage - however what will we lose resource/production wise?
The cows are good - as is the goody hut.
The desert squares and lack of river are not so good.
I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die.
We're in the middle of a peninsula, I spotted the tides of ocean tiles on both our west, southwest and east coast, thus settling in the middle will deny us quick access to the ocean for our capital.
There's only one other civ (the Incas) which has Mysticism as a starting tech too, so we have a more or less clear shot at an early religion. But if they start on the coast and work coastal plots they'll have an advantage on researching either Polytheism or Meditation. If we start with one of those techs and gamble wrong, they'll probably end up with both techs first.

Choose religions is in.
It's a Standard sized map, so I guess that's why Babylonia is in, Krill.
It has 0 points, so I also assume Snoopy retired the civ already.
I also suggest to log in with non-descriptive names like 'HRE' or Holy Roman Empire or Charlemagne so it takes a while longer before the other teams reealize the wabbits are the HRE. I don't think double log in with the same name is allowed. Don't even know if two players can log in at the same time in the same civ. Can somebody confirm that?
So don't use your nicks or wabbit or whatever.

Move the scout on either of the marked positions. Those hills will give us the most visibility. Red path puts the scout in a position to enter the tribe next turn AFTER our city is founded, but BEFORE we spent any beakers on research. Just in the off chance we'll get a free technology.
Move the settler to the blue spot. I know we'll lose a turn of research with this, but that spot gives us access to a whole lot of forest, fresh water, 3 hills, and the cow and stone resource.
That's my preference.
Of course, if we settle this turn, the scout could already visit the tribe this turn too AFTER our city is founded. Same reason as above for the free tech chance.

From what I have read the game is being reset back to the start some time very soon. Correct??
