Con, Templars can do it one of two ways. Either open your forum willinglyso everyone can view it, or I'll write a very thorough history of how you played the game. With quotes, and with pictures. Either way anything and everything important is going to be made public. You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.

Oh and Con, something I forgot to mention.
I saved all of the important threads in your forum to my PC before I posted that.
So congrats on wasting an hour editing every single one of your posts in the private forumYou just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.

Is everyone else willing to open their forum?
Really I think that only extends to Rabbits, PAL never used their private forum here, Banana didn't for most of the gme either, and Imperios is entirely in spanish. You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.

How do you compile a history of the game if half the teams didn't use their forums, or is unreadable for non-Spanish speakers?

Pictures and a lot of tactical knowledge about the game. Can't always comment on the team dynamic, but it is possible to comment on what choices each team made, how well it turned out and what the final effect was.You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.

A private forum is private for a reason, otherwise it would be public from the very start, why do you fail to understand that people? If the members of a private forum do not wish to turn it into a public one you should respect it.
Further more Krill, taking advantage of your access privilege to extort a fellow player do something against his will could lead to revocation of your privilege and get you banned.
If you have a serious reason to want a private forum to be turned into public despite the refusal of the members of that forum you should bring it to the attention of the administration of this site instead of threatening and mocking.

I have been approached by some about this issue.
I am not in the position to make a judgement about your game though!
Two general comments from me though;
Apolyton has a rule that no one is allowed to publish parts of private conversations against the will of the author. An exception to this rule can be made when for a specific game different rules have been made.
In example, our Diplo Game has the rule that we all keep an anonymous identity in the game. Nobody knows which civ I play. We delete all posts that may reveal the idenity of a player.
Thus in our Diplo Game we delete posts that are not supposed to be deleted according to the be deleted according to the rules of Apolyton.
Thus, please investigate if the rules of your game say that private posts about this game should be published when the game is done. If these rules say so (and everybody could be aware of that), please follow the rules of the game.
If there is not such a rule, please follow the rules of Apolyton.
I know that everybody can in the heat of the moment be tricked in a painful discussion. I've been there. Please all try to stay cool and find a solution that suits everybody and helps all of you to enjoy a new game in the future!
If you can't find a solution, may I suggest you to find 3 independant judges, ie. OzzyKP, Jeroen Schweitzer and Ming, and ask them to make a final verdict. Only do that if you all agree in advance to accept their verdict. Only a suggestion.
Good luck and thanks for organising this great game on Apolyton!

Turns out it was pretty smart.

Also, I did PM Cybershy earlier about these forums being openned. I have yet to hear a reply. You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.

Actually, I'll add a caveat to that. Certain threads (containing some semi-private and private infomation) I can give links to the mods to delete. That should help smooth over some of the reasons for the private/public debate.
If anyone wants to help me out in that and pm me links to particular threads that they think should be deleted (or failing that certain posts) then I'm more than happy to spend tomorrow vetting each forum.
