I know I am late to the party but I think its a mistake not waiting for a patch. Historically its been FUBAR getting pre ptach saves to work. So then we get another game hold up and what happens? We lose more interest. I would rather the teams drop out and we consolidate before the game starts quite frankly.
I realize the voting is done, and we are moving forward but this at least gives me the oppurtunity to do a righteous "I told ya so".

Well unless there's yet another patch, last I saw was that it introduced a major bug to Tanks, Panzers, and Modern Armor (Barrage X promotions not working)

That Barage X promotions not working might also apply to certain modern naval ships (Battleships, Missle Cruisers, etc.)
And I'm not sure if the Chinese UU Collaterial damage is working or not. As I recall we do have someone playing the Chinese and they might to run tests to ensure it's fully functional.1st C3DG Term 7 Science Advisor 1st C3DG Term 8 Domestic Minister

I vote we patch...too many games going on to not patch...not to mention online games.Comment

The patch will have very little/no impact on the game, it takes maybe 10 mins to do and it's very unpractical to run 2 versions of civ ... Lets just do it IMO, surely there can be no objections.Comment
